pully8 Posted December 24, 2020 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2020 Woman on superyacht that arrived in Cairns one of two people in Queensland with COVID-19, yacht crew 'not cooperating' - ABC News Surprised that this superyacht was permitted to cruise in Australian waters, given the cruising ban? Or are some exempt? Looks a beautiful vessel but out of the price range of most.

Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted December 24, 2020 #4 Share Posted December 24, 2020 I suspect the yacht people didn't bother getting permission, they probably just turned up assuming they could stop there.

I don’t think they can stop a returning citizen and would have had a good quarantine. It would be bad to come down with it in the middle of nowhere all alone.
