They shouldn't even be making these offers. There is no sign of start up and they just keep canceling further out.  It just creates bad feelings in a time where the cruise lines have enough obstacles  to overcome.

Absolutely, its not fair. Makes one wonder who is allowing this to continue. Not the time turn off your clients to your product.

What's wrong with them giving out free cruises to casino members?   If it gets cancelled because of covid, it's not their fault.  They release new offers every couple of weeks.  Sure I have some I was disappointed they were cancelled but that is the way of the world right now.    I currently have 3 offers on the club royale website.   I have others booked and latest list doesnt appeal to us right now.

Nothing wrong with it. In fact its a great perk. Whats wrong is knowing they are giving away a product they know will not sail.   The casino marketing dept is making a HUGE mistake.  My wife and I pre covid always went to vegas on a full RFB comps.  Never once has an offer been taken away from us, and not replaced.  Gamblers like me are  very loyal. however,  the cruise lines need to start using a host service to take care of their higher tier players.

Since Mar'20, we've had about 30 casino deals cancelled now, between Royal, Princess & Carnival. But for each, we only pay the port charges & cruise Ins (live in FL.) And get it all back as refunds in about 10 days each. The cruise lines didnt know that far in advance when they would start up again. But we didnt want to miss out on the great deals we were getting. Now we have more booked thru Dec '21.

And started in Dec'20, if you put your cancelled booking # in, instead of you C&A # at the clubroyaleoffers site, they give you replacement cruises. They have also replaced both our 2 cancelled annual tier free cruises from 2019-2020 & 2020-2021 with later ones.

Royal has given us a host to call, & also a masters phone line, which get us thru even faster. Sometimes Carnival gives us a heads up, 2 day in advance to book the deals.

So  they should stop giving offers for 2021 since they don't know when they will sail??

I.e. I booked a free alaska cruise for end of june 2021 that offer came out in august or september 2020.    No one knows if that ship will be sailing in june.    If it gets cancelled, not their fault nor would I be mad or upset with rcl.

I had several casino cruises cancelled for 2020 and more cancellations for 2021 will happen, again not their fault!!

Everytime comp sailings get cancelled we receive new comp offers.  I think their marketing staff is doing everything they can to keep offers rolling out to keep interest.

They have been selling cruises since March that I’m pretty sure they knew would not sail.  Not cancelling many until after final payment. So not much different either way.

How much dose a FREE cruise cost ?

Tax and port fees and gratuities.  It also cost me airfare to the port.  I’ve got 12 cruises booked, 7 of them are casino comped.  I’ve also had several comped cruises canceled but I understand.  I’ve gotten all I’ve paid refunded (still waiting for refunds on a canceled Feb cruise).  Im thrilledthat they keep sending me offers.

I noticed none of the last 4 offers listed Harmony for November or December of 2021, but they listed all the other Oasis class ships for balcony and below comped cruises.

I don't even look anymore

How generous of them to offer a free cruise when no ships are sailing. Sounds like a verse to an Alanis Morissette song.  Isn't it Ironic?

Unfortunately, planning on a cruise anytime soon is indeed 'like rain....on your wedding day'.

I have heard that the Casino has no more comped cabins through June 2021. Last month I had asked my casino host if he could get me something for March and he was not able to do anything for me. Of course, I now predict that Royal will cancel March cruises so it is a moot point.

My last offer had comped rooms starting in July 2021.

$5 per point, so you need to play $12,500 through the machine on slots. That amount also includes any winnings that you just keep playing through the machine. My hubby plays blackjack but I don’t know how they calculate points on table games.

It’s nothing.

The vast majority of people who are gambling are going to gamble regardless of the free drink perks offered by the cruise line.  You can’t equate the cost of those drinks to what they gambled.
