Mayflower1 Posted March 3, 2021 #51 Share Posted March 3, 2021 Good Afternoon Brimary - hope you are both well, as we are - Yes such memories have kept us going throughout this dreadful period. So good to see Mary in such fine spirits on the Photos - No doubt you were keeping the usual low Profile Brian ??? Lets hope we can meet up again soon and renew our Friendship, and meet the fabulous Crew again.

les37b Posted March 4, 2021 #54 Share Posted March 4, 2021 I was looking through some youtube clips and found something online and was actually onboard Silver Wind at the time and posted my own video of the event...... In St Barts - And the Bucket Regatta which I know I've mentioned a few times - and just had no idea how much of a treat it was. You can see Silver Wind in the distance in the first clip taken with a drone by the event organisers And this is my effort on that fantastic Saturday.......
Rare TLCOhio Posted March 4, 2021 #55 Share Posted March 4, 2021 More great sharing on this FUN thread. Keep it up!! We are getting closer for sailings to resume, but it is still a number of months away until we have a reasonable timing for starting to see some degree of being closer to whatever "normal" means. THANKS! Enjoy! Terry in Ohio Completed 2019 summer with Calgary, Jasper/Banff National Parks, Western Canada Rocky Mountaineer rail adventure, Vancouver, sailing up to Alaska on Silver Musse, post-cruise excursion to Denali, etc. Many visuals and details from our first in these scenic areas! Live/blog: https://boards.cruisecritic.com/topic/2682584-live-terryohio-silver-muse-alaska-canadarockies-pix’s/ Here is fun and wonderful Henry with friends from the Philadelphia area during our 2019 Silver Muse Alaska sailing. Next is the bright sun on the Silversea signage and then the view in doing a sail-away from the dramatic and scenic Vancouver harbor.: (Open your screen/viewer wider to see these visuals larger/better!) Here are some more excellent and tasty dining samples.: For our Alaska Silver Muse cruise, here is the Cruise Director in action, plus just one of the nice wine options from Italy we enjoyed.:

Not really boasting (well, yes, I guess I am a bit) but I just wish I had the chance to cash it in. Oh, to be at the desk surveying the (previously scorned) prizes! Hubris to the max. I found mine finally!!!! Now just wanna go!

Stumble I can't remember the prize point redemption equivalents. The swag offered does change. No LVH stuff for sure. No baubles or bling. Prolly a lot of flashlights or a few t-shirts. Or a hat. I think that certificate is from 3 or 4 cruises. Not sure. Just want the opportunity to redeem!!

Spins, We’re squarely with you on the opportunity to redeem. Fingers crossed that all will be well in 2022 to do so. Considering we’ve played trivia two times now and earned a grand total of 20-points, or so, I fully expect we’ll have earned a free 7-night voyage by the time we reach your certificate total of 500-points! Resting comfortably in Vail tonight. Wish you were in The Beav so we could enjoy a meal together this week.

Rare drron29 Posted March 9, 2021 #62 Share Posted March 9, 2021 I love this thread. It has made me re read my old reports and the memories flood back.We were lucky enough to be on the first cruise to Cuba on the Silver Explorer in 2015.Mostly Aussies and a couple of Brits.First the Explorer ready for us in Nassau. . We were lucky and experienced a Harvest moon on the way to Havana. . Arriving in Havana just before sunrise was wonderful. . . . . The Explorer docked in Havana. . And fond memories of all the music when walking around including the first group of wandering minstrels singing Waltzing Matilda. .
