The locale where one "dines" certainly can influence one's opinion of the dining experience including the food and the service.

As I think about this topic, the Hot Dogs, in their various varieties of condiments, that are served at the Dive-In on HAL ships really are quite good.  When HAL first opened Dive-In and had Hot Dogs on the menu, I wondered why would anyone, other than a child, want such a sandwich.  After having 2-3, I "got the memo".  There is a place for such "comfort food" during a cruise at times.

Brooklyn Street version is Red Onion Sauce, Mustard and Kraut....
