Things I will never take for granted again ...

Over many years of cruising I’ve come to take some things for granted.  When I get back to cruising  here’s a start of what I won’t ever take for granted again.

Sailaways.
Sunsets on the ocean.
Wonderful meals in lovely settings.  Not all perfect.  But pretty damn good.

Anyone else?

Your last one captures my most anticipated activities:

- Breakfast on the veranda

- Long dinners with a window table at Blu

And I will add

- seeing new places before, during and after the cruise.

It's great to hang out at the pool having a few beers.

Don't take for granted the consideration and respect for someone else's space. At first there will be a vulnerability to the new nexus between passengers in confined spaces. Understand the importance of just how much we are all dependent on one another.

Enjoy your cruise to the fullest and make it easy for everyone else to enjoy theirs.

The anticipation and pre-cruise planning, the excitement of boarding day and all of the leisurely pursuits of the days that follow. I think that even the day that I dread, returning home will have a special meaning, the first time only of course!

The challenge and anticipation in planning our next cruise and land vacation...

The excitement of stepping onto the ship the first day...

The smiles of the wonderful Celebrity staff members and the special treat of seeing a favourite bartender or chef from a past trip...

The realization that I don't need to worry about planning a meal or cleaning up for weeks😉...

That first delicious evening drink (and an occasional cigar for my husband) at the Sunset Bar, with the beautiful warm ocean breeze ruffling my hair...

The new ports, whether a busy day sightseeing or a simple stroll into town for coffee or lunch...

The return to our favourite faraway countries and cultures, with new foods, languages, architecture, art, and music...

The fantastic people we meet from all over the world...

We will never take travel of any kind for granted again.

AH!
Taking that first deep breath of sea air snd feeling all the everyday cares roll off my shoulders

That first glass of champagne.

Feeling like royalty as we are greeted by the crew.

Finding that one special bartender with whom we are going to bond for the rest of the cruise.

Meeting our waitstaff and table mates at dinner

Walking on deck after a rain shower.

Leaning over the rail of our balcony to be mesmerized by the wake.

Live music.

I think I might actually cry for joy when I can get on a cruise ship again.
