Thanks for sharing all Covid related details of flying in and out of Cancun!  Will be very helpful when I leave Sunday.

 

I'm sorry if I missed it... how did you handle paying the new $11 tourist fee?  Did the airline ask for proof of payment?

I prepaid mine online. But nobody asked for it.

so my recommendation would be don’t pay it.

just have it ready in case they do make you pay it at the airport. But I’m not the first one who has said they never asked for it.

Actually flight aware has it as a 3 hr 17 min travel time.

A lot of people on my august Mardi Gras are on it again for the sailabration. Some people on that I’ve cruised with twice before. We all go the end of august. Usually New Orleans but all happened to pick the new ship this year.

 

I’m already booked on Glory the week of the Sailabration. I think that’s March 5th I get on that one.

 I’m on Vista for sailabration.  Can’t wait to be back on a ship.

My favorite flight attendant is doing all kinds of shifting of her personal belongings in the over head compartment in front of me. Even stepped up on the arm rest of the seat in front of me to reach someone in the back. Now when that guy gets back from the bathroom he’s going to have no clue the bottom of her shoes were on his arm rest.

That's a Michelada.  It is usually made with bloody mary mix, spices, lime juice, ice and beer.  They have them on Carnival at the BlueIguana, sometimes made with Dos XX or Corona, depending upon what's on tap.
