They have lots of oil money to blow. I remember some of their bridges to nowhere just being fabulous.

There are no markings or names on it, but the ship at 1:22 appears to be an R ship.

I hope not! 😂 Per the above article, ship maximum for the tunnel is 16,000 tons. The R ships are 30,000+.

Both articles mentioned "cruise ships," and the CGI drawings look like massive cruise ships.  But 16,000 tons excludes everything except luxury yachts and expedition ships [and many expedition ships exceed that limit].

Yes, it does look similar.  The lack of lifeboats does prove the ship is a CGI/photoshop created ship though.

The tunnel is primarily designed for ships like the Hurtigruten ferries.

And, even for ships of that size, the squat and canal effect of going through this tunnel will make it similar to porcupines having carnal relations;  slow and very careful.
