The acronym is HIPAA, not HIPPA. Our HIPAA laws relate to healthcare settings, and nothing else.

I believe the yellow vaccine record is similar to what anticoagulant takers are required to carry, just in case of medical treatment, accidents happen.

And once again as has been stated a thousand times... you're more than welcome to not show your private health records to anyone whom may ask, but they then have every right to not permit you to enter their premises, planes, cruise ships, etc.

...and state governments can revoke access to companies that discriminate based on circumventing our laws. It’s a two way street. 
 

It is so sad that so many of you are willing to give up your civil liberties because the government (and some businesses) deems it necessary based on “evolving” science on a disease that is more survivable than a typical flu outbreak. Don’t give me death tolls because there was no vaccine in the beginning as there is for the flu every year. 
 

Why are some states, and their schools, open for business and others are not? Look at the “leadership” and draw your own conclusions!!

 

I am done here. I won’t change you and you will definitely not change me. But, wake up to what is truly in play here. That is not conspiracy theory.

They're certainly trying right now. It will be interesting to see how it pans out. Seemingly right now Royal Caribbean and NCL are both planning for vaccinated cruises and aiming to sail from Florida.

What civil liberty am I giving up? I want to cruise and I'm more than happy to disclose my vaccination status. I'm not being forced to do anything.

Yes, thats the point....

The pandemic occurred and there was no vaccine which meant this was extremely transmissible and deadly. What happened when the vaccine started being widely adapted? Deaths decreased. The Covid outbreak can be significantly weakened by an increased acceptance of the vaccine.

All the rest?  Whether you do or do not have a COVID vaccine(s), it doesn't matter to me, nor does it matter to me why you do or don't.  I just don't care.

 

All I know is that I'm sailing NCL because they require everyone to have one (among other reasons).  Why is this so difficult to understand?

You won't need a mask onboard, but you should definitely bring one/some for your travel to/from the cruise port and for any port stops on the cruise where you will need to adhere to any local mask requirements.
