Smoking on the Carnival Miracle

Smoking is currently not permitted on the balcony of your Carnival Miracle cabin, or in your stateroom or suite.

PLEASE NOTE:

According Carnival Cruises' smoking policy, smoking in public areas is only permitted in designated areas that you can find on the open decks, in the casino, and in the nightclub (upper level). Carnival Cruises specifies that smoking in the casino is only "while playing designated slot machines and table games." Cigar and pipe tobacco smoking are only permitted in outdoor designated smoking locations.

Smoking is permitted in designated areas outdoors:

  • -on Deck 3- starboard
  • -on Deck 9- forward and starboard
  • -on Deck 10- forward and starboard

Effective 10/9/14, smoking was prohibited in all staterooms and on all private balconies. Carnival Cruises will assess a 250.00 USD cleaning fee for violations of this smoking policy.

We’re booking an aft cabin on the Carnival Miracle but I want to check where the smoking areas are so we don’t have to deal with second hand smoke. Anyone know what areas are smoking?

I am not a smoker but was curious as to the dedicated smoking areas around the outside. I know that in the past we would be taking a stroll outside and we would walk right through the smoking area. We’ve booked, for the first time an aft balcony. I’m hoping we can enjoy our balcony without smelling smoke.

I’m with you on this.  We are not smokers and hate having our balcony filled with smoke.  We also booked an aft balcony for our August Alaska cruise and hope the smoking area on deck 3 is not near us (We are on deck 4).

I'm not a smoker but I'm amazed your balcony would fill with smoke on a moving ship.
