We just booked for one of the upcoming Majestic Alaska cruises and DH is wondering if anyone might be able to confirm if there is a craps table in the casino. Any insights would be appreciated!

I'm going on the Majestic Princess in December 2021 on the Mexican Riviera Cruise and I assumed there was a Craps Table on-board. Upon extensive searching of Casino photos, I don't think there is one :-(. I have sent Princess Ocean Casino Staff an email to confirm. Once I get an answer, I will post it here? Fingers-Crossed!!!!!

When we cruised on her from Sydney in October 2019, there was a craps table.  They didn't have a PokerPro table nor did they have a single draw Poker slot machine which we thought was odd.  However, the ship had been outfitted for the Chinese market and they may not have been as appealing to that clientele.  It is anyone's guess what will be in the casino when they resume cruising in July but I suspect that the casino will have all of the machines that a North American clientele would expect.  I will know for sure on August 8th when we will be onboard.

Agree.  We were on the ship in Winter 2019 for Aus to NZ and back.  Craps but no poker.  I would expect a lot of changes for Majestic's N.A. debut.  Many we have already heard about.

Fabulous! Please keep us posted! Also, can you confirm a Cigar Lounge on the Majestic upon your return on 8 August? Thanks, Majcigar 🙂

We contacted the casino department this morning.

They informed us that there would be no crap table for the Alaska sailings in 2021.

Perhaps they couldn't see how to provide some physical distancing or barriers and even though all are vaccinated, they want to have some additional measures???

What changes have there been so far? Thank you.

There seems to be a lot of aspects to the MP that really don't translate well outside of the Chinese market, eg., the Vista Gaming Lounge,  the Karaoke section, the restricted VIP casino section, the Hollywood Conservatory (ie., the noisy, all-ages "Sanctuary"), the Noodle Bar, the high-end shops, even the Chinese restaurant, which, unlike the French bistro, doesn't seem to have been adopted by other Royal Class ships.  The MP underwent a drydock just after the cruise shut down; I wonder if Princess made a few cosmetic changes and eliminated some of these idiosyncratic options for its permanent shift to the domestic market...the MP casino was not a particularly inviting place when I was on back in April 2017.

I’m looking forward to trying the noodle bar and the Chinese restaurant. I think it will be nice to have something different to try. Don’t get me wrong, I love Crown Grill but sometimes it’s nice to have something new to try.

I really enjoyed the noodle bar and am hoping it is still there when we are onboard in August.  We didn't try Harmony Chinese nor did we pay the upcharge for the Lobster at the grill.

I know that the "Vista Gaming Lounge" has been turned into the Vista Bar or Vista Lounge that we are familiar with. The Noodle Bar appears to be still there in more recent (pre-Covid) Aussie and Tasmania videos, and looked quite nice. I'm open to and looking forward to trying some new and fun things, like the Hollywood Conservatory and pool club, especially as they are adults only and not just carbon copies of "same old, same old". 😍

If you're trying to seduce me kind sir...

It's working!🥰

And yes, I would love a nice glass of champagne with you @ Bellini's.

Will you be wearing your tux, Mr. Bond? I'll be wearing my black evening gown,

the one with the silver lace overlay...and I'll have a small rose evening bag.

The Hollywood Conservatory was not being enforced as an "adults-only" Sanctuary when I was on; kids were everywhere, banging the gong and playing the large xylophone...if MP was to tighten things up there, it might be an ideal place to see glaciers in Alaska.

Point taken. The videos that were taken closer to the COVID shutdown looked amazing!

Good Afternoon All Craps Players,

Received an email from Giselle Hernandez, Global Casino Services | Carnival Corporation & PLC.

Here is what she said: Onboard Majestic Princess there would be 1 crap (dice) table. I'll believe it when I see it.

As for other interesting notes -- If you had Freeplay that expired due to COVID-19, I suggest you contact Giselle and request some of your Freeplay reinstated. I had about $275.00 and they issues me $120.00 in Freeplay for my 22 Dec 21 cruise.

Good to hear that she is still there.  She helped me move my free play from my first couple of cancelled cruises to other cruises that were then subsequently cancelled.  My future bookings have free play that were associated to newer casino offers so I've given up on the CBS free play that I had earned previously.  Our cruise on the Majestic in August was booked as a VIP cruise.  We shall see how many of the usual events that happen during VIP sailings are on our cruise.  I will just be happy to be onboard again!
