Wow! Just went in to check something for my Oct 2 2021 sailing and noticed the entire itinerary has changed. Went from San Juan, St Thomas, Nassau, Ocean Cay to Ocean Cay (9am-11pm), Nassau (11am-7pm), Oho Rios (9am-4pm), Ocean Cay (9am-6pm) 2 sea days. Would have been nice to get an email. Did want to visit some friends on St. Thomas. Oh well.

I called MSC this morning and the agent verified the change was made TODAY.

The following week itinerary  is also modified , doing the 2 stops at OC. They have swapped out scheduled stop in Grand Cayman to Costa Maya.

He also added, things are still subject to change as ports may change accessibility.

It’s gone from my account. Have you checked your MSC account? Now bookable at over $1000 more.

Did you try checking by logging in using booking number and your name?

Yes and it gave me an error code. This is not my first cancellation with MSC. This was booked with FCC from Oct 2020 repo and using that first booking number.
The final payment is due soon but don’t think I will pay unless they give me my same YC room back.

Did a mock booking and noticed that my room in The Yacht Club was available to book. Called and got it taken care of. Rep told me they are doing alot of shuffling of itineraries and everything should settle down over the next 2 days.

Just checked my back to back Oct 23, Oct 30.  It's gone.  Replaced with a 7 day only sailing on Oct 23.

Spoke to a rep from the Casino Dept.  I was told to cancel and re-book another cruise.  According to the rep]s supervisor, Meraviglia is only sailing every other week.

Check your bookings,

Mike

We "were" booked on a 14 night cruise sailing on 10/23/21. Now it's listed as a seven night with a new itinerary versus the old first week (now with two stops in OC). Trying not to freak out since I know they're moving things around but I'm hoping they don't completely screw up our booking. Right now our balance owed still reflects the 14 night itinerary in a whirlpool suite but the cabin number has been removed. Not sure if I should call now or give it a few days to sort itself out.

Wow! Mine is changed too. Gone are St. Thomas and San Juan.

Ocean Cay, Nassau, Sea Day, Ocho Rios, Sea Day, Ocean Cay.

Wonder if these new itineraries are carved in stone or could change again?

On the bright side, we go to Ocean Cay twice, so I'll get a day there without packing on my mind. 😄

Mine is too!  Just went to a website that shows real time room availability. The room I really wanted in YC was available. Called MSC and had them reassign it to us. All taken care of.

If you did your own booking, not with a TA, call now. I did the same and they reassigned the room we had.

Hope it’s wasn’t mine I’m trying to get back. 🤦‍♀️ 😉

What a mess lol. Was on the phone for nearly an hour, now we're booked for two seven night sailings instead of one fourteen night sailing. Pricing is all screwed up so I have to email the dreaded "ExistingReservations" department (again) to try and get that fixed. We also no longer have our cabin assigned for the first leg of the journey but we were able to get our original cabin for the second portion, I'm including that issue in my email about fixing the pricing. I don't want to switch cabins midway through the cruise.

The itinerary shakeup lost us all the stops we were looking forward to, including the brief stop in San Juan which is where we got married and this is our anniversary cruise. We now have four stops in OC scheduled plus a day in Miami (aka bonus "sea day.")

What was once a great itinerary from NYC to Miami on the Divina has turned into an uninspiring trip on the Meraviglia. Still looking forward to enjoying the ship and relaxing in our balcony whirlpool (if MSC doesn't screw us out of it) but this is quickly turning into a glorified cruise to nowhere.

Sorry to hear that you'll be missing San Juan on your anniversary cruise. We were also looking forward to going back, and although we've been to St. Thomas many times, there's a little cafe there downtown that we always go to for lunch (Glady's). Sort of a cruise tradition for us there, since we've done "all the things" in these ports. Nassau and Ocho Rios? Meh. Really is like a cruise to nowhere, but like you, we were really looking forward to relaxing on board and getting back to the Yacht Club. And who knows whether or not the itineraries will change again. Right now on the MSC website, it's showing Meraviglia only sailing every other week in October. I wonder what's up with that?

I’m still confused.  How far into the calendar are the cruises for Port Canaveral being reshuffled?  There are so many ‘longer cruises’ on Divina later in the year. I would imagine those are gone? Is Divina going to stay in Port Canaveral? When is Armonia going to restart?  The current later in the year schedule has Meraviglia moving to Port Canaveral with very few 3/4 day cruises. Will that stand? I have a feeling even tomorrow will not have all the answers.

None of the ports were super exciting for us on the original Meraviglia itinerary, it was more about just accomplishing getting on a cruise ship for us at this point lol. Our original Divina itinerary from NYC to Miami hit Aruba and Curaçao along with some other good southern Caribbean ports but that's long gone unfortunately.

I don't mind getting off the ship in Nassau just to people watch but we don't even bother in Jamaica. It's a little too pushy for my taste in most Jamaican ports. I can deal with it but at a certain point it's not fun to say, "Thanks but no thanks" about braiding my wife's long pretty blonde hair to almost every person we encounter.

The MSC rep I spoke with didn't have any explanation about the every other week sailings for the Meraviglia. Our booking, which again was for 14 nights, leaving on 10/23/21 was changed to a seven day sailing that still leaves on 10/23/21. That isn't one of the dates listed on MSC's website when you search her October sailings. According to the website right now, 3:20pm ET on 06/15/21, she's only sailing on 10/02/21, 10/16/21, and 10/30/21 which contradicts what our booking currently shows.

Our 10/30 sailing has been changed also.  Same schedule as the others.  Boo hoo hoo!   Hope it's changed again.  Not worth flying to Miami for this one.

Just noticed we no longer have a cabin assigned.

Same with ours in November.

Ocho Rios and Nassau as ports and did get Ocean Cay added. Our week did not OC before.

Our cabin looks to be available on website and our reservation lists cabin as Guarantee.  It has been assigned since February. MSC closed now but, will call tomorrow.

Next couple of days should be a real mess.
