Bimini or Halfmoon Cay

Has anyone heard of Bimini cruise port? What is there to do? Which is better Halfmoon Cay or Bimini?

Half moon cay by a mile. Bimimini says its endless beaches, food and history. Went there long ago, had beach and one restaurant.. needs a lot of developing. It's a brand new port.

Bimini is a new port. It was originally going to be for Virgin, but I guess they are expanding since there are still port closures.

Half Moon Cay might just be paradise...If I "accidentally" got left behind there, I would not even care

We have taken our own boat over to Bimini, we live in palm beach. There is nothing there. I mean nothing. It’s amazing fishing and water, that is it. Beaches with not great soft sand, but again water is unbelievable. No shopping, no food, no nothing. I really hate to see ships go there and destroy the beauty

I went there on one of those 1 day gambling cruises out of florida. Only small ships been there. We found 1 place to eat and endless beaches. Pretty, nothing to do.

Please keep in mind Bimini has been building up in preparation for use as Virgin's "private island".

seems like Bimini is being used as to not overcrowd Nassau during the restart. Don't think we'll see multiple ships in Nassau right away.

I have an MSC cruise booked for December 3rd.  We were supposed to have an overnight stay at MSC's private Island (Ocean Cay).  Now it looks like our itinerary has already changed and we will be staying until 6pm at Ocean Cay one night then a stop at Bimini was added later in the cruise (again until 6pm).  I was really looking forward to the overnight at the private island as it looks beautiful (and also since our drink packages work on the island as well!).  I never heard of MSC stopping here before.

I love Bimini, but a cruise ship landing there will swamp the tiny place
