Try Jefferson's Ocean bourbon. Aged at sea (like us, lol).

Next time we are in town where there is a real selection, we will look for it.  The best we have locally is a Bev Mo and Costco, so we’ve started a tradition of finding something new when we go into LA

I’m really looking forward to that mushroom soup — looks divine.  I always get it at Le Bistro on NCL, but last time it was disappointing

On my way into the Solarium, I saw this fella. Any guesses?

Yours truly, just settled in my lounger in the Solarium.  Sporting my "vermin group" t-shirt;

My view from my lounger in the Solarium. Btw, as you can see, I'm rocking my new "formal"water shoes that I wore last night at dinner, lol;

ABOV (Adult Beverage Of Choice); Pina Colada of course. Is there any other drink when you're on a cruise in the Caribbesn?

@CptAleSpillwould definitely be proud. Look at this "oil spill" (rum spill) floating on the top of my Pina Colada;

I was there for about an hour from 1:30-2:30 before my massage. It was so flipping hot!! I had to stay in the pool.

The current trend is to add a lot of cinnamon and put the word "fire" on the label, after the success of Fireball.  Jack Daniel's Tennessee Fire is an example.  Between the strong cinnamon taste and the lower alcohol content, my wife tried it and said it was something she might consider drinking (which means show probably never will).  The few times that she has tasted one of my bourbon drinks, she makes a face, practically spits it out, and almost immediately says yuck.  "Might consider drinking" is therefore a significant improvement.

I like Fireball. I never bothered spending more for the JD version to see if it was better.

It’s good to see Johnny rockets is open for lunch now, I don’t believe it was for the first few cruises. Now just hoping they will have windjammer open for dinner/late night snacks ( I love just getting some fries or some desserts up there after a show) by the time I’m on the adventure in august.

"Lunch-ish". It appears to be open beginning at 2pm now, except on CocoCay days. Still a huge improvement.

A request for someone onboard right now...

Could you get a rough measurement of the diameter of one full pizza at Cafe Promenade? Perhaps using a Cruise Compass or other 8.5x11-inch paper as a basis since I doubt anyone carries a ruler around. 🙂

I guess I'm still asking if someone could do this. 🙂 It's pizza!

I have always suspected it's at least partly to blame on drink packages as the general incentive to encourage people to drink is disappearing when profit is now increased by discouraging people from drinking, when you're not really earning per-drink profits anymore.

I wonder what the average percentage is of adults who have packages on cruises?

Oh yeah, RedFrog Pub & Brewery. Thanks. Do you know if Mardi Gras will have one of these? My guess is yes.

Miller/Lite/Bud/Bud Light/Ultra. Are those really beer or just beer flavored water?

The best part about Budweiser is I had an opportunity to get up and close to their Clydesdales.

 The icing on the cake (whipped cream on the shake?) was when he said my chocolate milk shake was complimentary!

Thank you Johnny Rocket.

Of course he didn't tell you it was complimentary because you already paid for it with your drink package.

O.k., apologize for the delay. Here's that burger porn you all have been so eagerly awaiting. But first, everybody do the  "YMCA";

And you all thought Carnivall was the only cruise line with dancing waiters.

For some reason I keep getting 2 hamburger pics and when I delete one of them, it keeps coming back on. Just consider this double burger porn (2 for 1 special).

Btw, so as to not hijack this fun thread, for all those wanting to discuss further "The Good Stuff," I have started a bourbon whiskey thread over in the the "Float Away Lounge" area.

I couldn’t find “Float Away Lounge” section, help

Maybe @HBCcruisercan recommend a liquor store in LA that carries high end bourbons. She lives in Hermosa Beach.
