Edge or Apex. Raw on 5 embarkation lunch

I assume Raw on 5 is available for embarkation lunch. Do you need to have a reservation to eat there for embarkation lunch?  If yes, how do I make a reservation ahead of time?

I wouldn't think you would need a reservation, but I guess you could always call Captain's Club for a rez. I have never really seen it crowed at lunch, but you never know. Now that they have specific check in times, I think that is taking the pressure off the lunch venues.

I don't think Raw on 5 was open for embarkation lunch when I sailed Edge in February 2020. Also I'm sailing July 31 on Edge and the planner only has it listed for dinner for day 1.

Was not open  sailaway day on our 2 EDGE cruises

.  In fact it was  difficult to get in for lunch or to  make a res..pricey but we would have paid.

With reduced occupancy, hope it is easier!

I just checked both the cruise planner and the app for our October TA on Apex.  Not showing as open at lunch on embarkation day.

Hmm, I always thought the X way is to open EVERYTHING on embarcation day. That is why the Martini Bar is open when you get on.

The Sushi on 5 menu offered Asian beers like Orion and Enchigo and they were listed on the menu.

 

Does Edge Raw on 5 offer Asian beers?

Sailed on Edge 4 times, do not think it was opened on embankment day, but two of our sailings were in Luminae.

I spoke to the Zenith Desk a couple days ago to make a reservation for Raw on 5 for embarkation day.

They said Raw on 5 is currently closed on embarkation day on Edge.
