MASKS

@KKBwas on last week and is sailing b2b. See mentioned only few crew had on masks.

This sailing all crew are masks. Many of the crew are wearing double masks. I think with the events last week, the mask wearing will vary. Please let’s not turn this thread into a mask debate. I have accepted that our lives prior to March 2020 may never be the same.

Having just come off the Edge, the crew were some of the most hard-working and friendly people I’ve ever met. I say whatever is necessary to keep them healthy and keep the fun coming!

We are also onboard. I don’t want to hijack Tee’s thread but a few observations, excluding the boarding process.

We are in a SS with the bed facing the ocean. Luminae was pretty full this evening. We are at 7. Have the same waiter we had on Equinox in January 2020. He is very glad to see people back!
Casino is very full, no such thing as any distancing, all slot machines  available. Sitting on deck 4 right now and Martini Bar is about half full, no one at Cafe Al Bacio, although there is a comedian on the theatre at 9:30. For those interested, here are a few cabin pictures:

Can you advise who the Concierge is in Retreat

While every passenger is different and some were more challenged than others, obviously, by the unfortunate delay yesterday, this aligns with a figure I would have probably offered if I were the decision maker.

Enough that you know the line is feeling the pain, enough to enjoy a few extra items or perks on someone else's dime. Feels like more than a token.

Houssain. I just had a nice conversation with him. He was the retreat concierge on the Equinox when we sailed in January 2020. I will say that the retreat area on this ship is fabulous. Two decks, large lounge, upstairs pool, bar, very large sun deck.

I am not sailing until December but would love to see what is for sale in the Spirits Ship. Particularly Scotch, Bourbon and other whiskies. Any pics/lists would be appreciated so I can plan my OBC purchases.

Thanks!

I’ll get some pictures tonight. I plan on visiting before everybody starts spending their OBC!

Does the retreat lounge have the evening snack display or is everything packaged? Are the snacks that are delivered to the room daily only packaged items or the usual cheese fruit etc?

Retreat Lounge last night had similar items as pre-COVID, but there is someone to serve you. Cheese selection, charcuterie board, etc. I’ll grab a picture tonight.

Here you go! The glare may make it harder to see. If you have any specific questions I’ll try to answer them.

Beautiful suite and I love how the bed faces the ocean.  Enjoy your cruise!

CABIN MUNCHIES

I read a thread where someone asked about the Kind bars. Here’s what I received for snacks and drinks. I’m not sure of the cost.

Nice selection of munchies. Love the Tito’s…….

Only question referring to yesterday then I'll just follow the pics.  Are they doing anything about the pax who were not tested?

Nassau

i was up at 5 am. Could my body be thinking of work or time to let the dog out? I must do better with sleeping in. Breakfast at Oceanview was good. I love the waffles with toppings.

The pool pictures were taken around 9 am. The crowds picked up later in the morning. Chairs were not an issue. We spent some time in the solarium. I never saw more than 4 people in the whirlpool at a time. No bartenders taking drink orders. No big deal walking outside to the pool bar.

Lunch this afternoon was yummy. The cheeseburgers at The Mask Grill have a chargrilled taste. Toppings were grilled onions, mushrooms, lettuce and crispy bacon. The fries were good. I saw the bag which was labeled extra crispy. Hot dogs are also offered.

We stayed onboard today. We met a lady this afternoon who stated most of the shops were closed. Atlantis had some action.

Dinner tonight is at Cosmopolitan. Tomorrow is a sea day.

@Tee & Chilli, if you like chocolate chip cookies you have to try them at the Eden Cafe which is open for breakfast and lunch (noon-130pm) only, I believe they're only have them during lunch.  Eden cafe/specialty dinner has some of the best tasting food (and presentations) on the ship

Thank you for the recommendation

Dinner- Cosmopolitan

We had reservations for 6 pm.

Paper menus are being used although you may also use the app. After having the lovely bread, the menu did not appeal to us. We decided to go the Oceanview Cafe. Some of the highlights were grilled curry trout and Korean beef.

To the poster a few weeks ago who was disappointed the pasta bar was gone on the first few sailings- IT’S BACK.
