So this should also mean no smoking indoors. I know the said it, but they haven't officially announced it. They need to state it emphatically along with vaping.

I have smoked with a gas mask on before.  I don't see why I couldn't smoke a cigarette with one on.  Remove to inhale.

Don't be hating on vaping. I know I know. There is a lot of misinformation out there by the tobacco corporations and the states that are losing tax dollars every time a smoker starts vaping and quits smoking. I have vaped for 5 years and I know what I am buying, I know how to use it. I know what research I have done using highly recognized and esteemed health bodies around the globe (This is off topic so I won't give details it's up to you whether you care or not to educate yourself) and they have deemed it 95% more healthy than smoking. So any of the contact traces anyone might encounter is even that much better. And vaping doesn't leave a trace and is not offensive to anyone. Unless that person would say any thing they can smell would ruin their Feng shui. And that 95% sounds familiar 😆

TN, I haven't said so but thank you for your courage, and forward thinking! You made the right decision for you, considering the circumstances. Good job!

Thanks!  I really hope that the people who are not cancelling their cruises go on to have a great time.  The cruise lines can't afford for everyone to cancel, so I am glad there are people who are ready to cruise in spite of the new requirements.

Well... used to is the answer.  There USED to be a cigar bar on Carnival ships, one of the many changes over the years.

Please educate me on which one and a ballpark year.  Been cruising on Carnival for 35 years and I don't ever remember there being one.

Well we will see where this thing leads us... I just got to thinking about it after what you said, and I said to my self: Self, let's just stay on this thing to see where it goes, and leads us.

I think you have antibodies from the vaccine but not the live proteins the antigen test looks for.

LOL. You won't get antibody's from these vaccines. There not traditional vaccines.

Have you considered that when you inhale the vaper into your lungs, it can pick up viruses, bacteria, Etc. from your lungs, throat and mouth.  Then you exhale that vapor with all of that stuff from you and it floats in the air getting on everyone around you, where it can get in their nose, mouth, eyes and skin.  Not really much different that much different from just spitting at everyone around you, contrary to your suggestion that it not offensive to anyone.

Virus can't live in the vapor because it's caused from a hot coil. I use a 2 battery setup at 70 watts and no virus can survive that heat.

Sensation and Fantasy, conquest class ships as well as what others have listed... I think they went away around the same time they stopped smoking in the cabins, maybe 2008 or so?  Also about the same time the Dream class came out as I remember John Heald hosting a cigar hour outside on deck when the Dream debuted and folks were unhappy it was outside.

Not a smoker so I don't remember it.  I do know that the NCL Bliss and Escape currently have them amongst others in their fleet and the Bliss and I think the Joy and Encore all have a dedicated smokers lounge in their casino which is glass enclosed so there is no smoke permeating everywhere.

They said "Only could find the QUICK antigen" which is not acceptable by Carnival????. Only the "Rapid" antigen??.. I thought they were the same apparently not??.. Even more confusion.. I don't cruise til Sept 27 so I have some time.. Thanks..

thats incorrect.  ANy PCR test or antigen test is acceptable as long as it's done by a certified lab.  JH specifically  stated no home tests.

It may be a thing of the past.  It was on one class of Carnival ships yet I dont remember which one.  It was right outside the comedy club to the right of the entrance.  There was a opening in the floor that you had to walk around to enter the club.  The cigar lounge had a bar and was very peacefull
