Yes I was watching it earlier. I was wondering why she hasn’t got her name on her side or are they waiting for the Naming Ceremony

Her name does not really stand out  written on the bow of the ship, almost gets lost in the flag painted on her .   As far as I'm aware she has had her naming ceremony (Dame Irene Hays )

I was on the dockside waving too! We’re now sitting in the car at Calshott beach waiting 😊

Just watched it. What a disappointment for anyone watching in Southampton. No fireworks, no streamers, nada...👎😕. Sincerely hope it was more exciting for those on-board.

It was pretty poor, but she does look amazing all lit up...

I love the purple where the glass windows are in the atrium. And the sky dome looked very snazzy.

She needed a brass band like the olden days to make it special........

 

Then again we were on Celebrity Silhouettes first proper cruise and

there wasnt even a deck party so its nothing new to play it down and that was before a pandemicwand now am guessing they don't want people gathering...

I watched it on You Tube, the pictures were good but neither of the commentators had a clue about Iona, especially the "expert" Emma, who didn't even know how many decks there were !
