While we were having dinner in Tuscan, our main dining room waiter, Christopher, stopped by to see how we were enjoying our meal. We mentioned last night that we had reservations the next two nights in specialty restaurants and he remembered. 
 

That was a really nice and thoughtful gesture. We have always appreciated those little touches, but it seems like it feels even better now after being away from cruising for so long.

we once had our bar  server from the main dinning room show up in Tuscan as it was my daughter’s birthday ..and brought up a round of 

shots for us all, her favourite. What a surprise !These are the type of things we love about Celebrity. And why we keep returning. So glad your enjoying these

I watched a youtube vid that showed special things on offer different days at the lunch buffet--clams, creme brulee.... Is this posted somewhere? I don't see it on planner. Just wanted to know when not to do lunch in MDR

I’m not sure where to find specific information about the menu for the Oceanview Café. The Celebrity app menu only shows the available drinks. I’m wondering if it would be possible to ask when you board? Maybe they could tell you which days have “special” menus so you could plan accordingly.

All of those photos with recipes on them are drinks available at the World Class Bar. These are specialty cocktails. The bartenders are very talented and will go out of their way to suggest just the right drink for you. Definitely try to make it there (deck 5) at some point in your cruise.

Weather on my old iphone shows 40% chance of rain through 1:00.  Not enough to stop me from golf so not enough to stop me from a first visit to a port.  😀

You will need to walk over the famous swinging bridge, we love this island. Our first visit was on the HAL Volendam and we got to tie up inside of the swinging bridge, almost under the big bridge in the background, because of the small size of the ship. Made that walk into town much easier.

It's fun when you're on the bridge and they swing it to allow boats to go thru the canal.

Yes, there's ample warning before it starts to open. And a mad dash of people at the opening end running to get on or get off before it starts.

The swinging bridge floats on the water and it is self propelled to swing on the water to open, it is fun to be on it and watch how it operates. It is an engineering marvel, IMO.
