Favorite Ship In Class ?

So I,m curious about peoples favorite ship within a given class ... I know a lot of people who haven't cruised much think that any ship in the same class will be the same experience , which couldn't be further from the truth, as the sometimes subtle differences can make a big difference .So , To be clear I'm looking for people who have cruised on multiple ships within the same class to share which is their favorite and why. Also overall favorite ship as well.

We love the Oasis class of ships…..

8 times on the Oasis

2 times on the Allure

5 times on the Harmony

Oasis due to recent refurbishments or even before?  Do you like Mariner over Navigator?  I thought the Navigator upgrades were pretty nice.

For me, the bigger newer ships are fun but are just too big for me, especially when you have to go back to your room because you've forgotten something 😏.  I love the Freedom class of ships with Freedom OTS or Independence OTS being my favorites.  They are large enough but yet not overwhelming in size, they have a nice layout and the cabin sizes are great.  Yes, there are more bells and whistles on the newer ships but I like to kick back and watch the world go by.  Happy sailings on whichever ship you've chosen.

I know it's not what you are asking but my favourite class is Radiance. Can't pick a particular ship as I think they vary from cruise to cruise depending on particular staff at the time and even the passenger mix. We once did a B2B on Brilliance and had a really different experience both weeks just because of dining companions, waiters, cabin steward etc.

Oasis post refurbishment for sure.

 

Haven't done Navigator since refurb, but Mariner is awesome, did a great job Amping her

Freedom is my favorite class, and Liberty is my favorite in the class. But I haven't been on Freedom since the amp.

 

Mariner and Navigator are obviously the best of the Voyager class.

 

I haven't been on multiple ships within the class for other classes. Generally the later ships are best, at least until the first major update.

Our favorite ship is the Liberty from the Freedom class, followed closely by the Vision of that class, Navigator, Allure and Radiance but as stated above all of these choices are driven by specific cruise,  Itinerary, crew, dining mates are all influencers.

For the Oasis class, our preference is Harmony.  We prefer the room layout over that of Oasis and Allure.

For the Quantum class we have only been on Anthem.  We go on Odyssey next month so that will likely end up our favorite because of Playmakers and Giovanni's.

For Freedom class we prefer Freedom probably because it was our first Freedom class ship and it was in Port Canaveral at the time (our home port).

For Voyager class we prefer either Mariner or Navigator mainly because of the full glass balconies.

No real preference for Radiance class and have only been on Enchantment in the Vision class.

What did you not like about Serenade..for some above she's a favorite.

We'll be on her for Alaska 2022 & Panama Canal 2022 and looking forward to her.

Mainly I didn't like the small casino, but I didn't like the layout of the ship either. Serenade is a pretty ship and we enjoyed the Solarium and the indoor movie theater. As you say she's a favorite for some people, but for me she is one of the few ships I will not sail on again. We are booked on Brilliance and I hope she will change my mind about that class of ships. Enjoy Alaska and the Panama Canal!
