She had to get a supervisor, who then fixed our account. How long after you got off your cruise did you call? I’m 8 days out. I’ve tried to call sporadically but the wait times have been too long. I’m hoping that the points will update at the ten day mark as it seems to have done according to other posters

Rare Itchy&Scratchy Posted October 4, 2021 #29 Share Posted October 4, 2021 We got off the Allure in 2019 and the points have been added last week when we complained about not getting them (to reach Platinum).

I have five cruises booked for next fall under the double points promo that will get the discount added after I hit 340 in May. Agree. The discount can be applied later and reduce the balance due. If the OP waits the Cruise With Confidence policy will no longer be in effect after 10/31, and cabin choice might be diminished, too. I know the points will likely be added by the end of this month, but there's no harm in booking the new cruise now. The cost will be adjusted for final payment. Shiraus82 Posted October 5, 2021 #32 Share Posted October 5, 2021 We're doing B2B in March and will move from Gold to Platinum between the two cruises. If the points take about a week to appear, will we have platinum benefits during the second cruise?

dleahy4444 Posted October 7, 2021 Author #34 Share Posted October 7, 2021 10 days after the cruise, still no points updated to my crown and anchor. The website says it can take up to 10 days but when I called Crown and Anchor I keep getting different answers. One person said up to 30 days, another said 10-14 days, and today I was told 2-4 weeks! I emailed them as well. No response. So much for customer service. Anyone on the oasis 9/19 2021 sailing? Were you points updated?

loman Posted October 7, 2021 #36 Share Posted October 7, 2021 Until you get to diamond there isnt much in the way of perks . Unless you book a suite above a junior suite , then you get suite lounge and costal kitchen .

The reason I am anxious to see that the points are correctly added is that I am inching towards diamond plus. On this recent cruise I should have earned 28 points (7 day cruise means 14 points since I was in a suite, which should be doubled under the double points promotion totaling 28) I am considering booking other suites while the promotion is ongoing in an attempt to reach my goal. Of course I can go ahead and book the cruises and straighten out the points issue later, but I rather know now if there is a problem with my account or if they are just backed up and no one’s points are being added. Apparently other people who have cruised after me had had their points added already so it might just be my account. To me the greater issue is the conflicting information that I am getting from the crown and anchor society, and that is if they pick up the phone after hours on hold
ScubaCat3 Posted October 7, 2021 #38 Share Posted October 7, 2021 Unless I've overlooked some recent announcement of an extension, I'm afraid you are too late to get double points for a new booking. You needed to book the new cruise by September 30, 2021. This is from the C&A website: The double points offer is exclusive to our most loyal guests, the Crown & Anchor Society members! Members will receive double Cruise Points on bookings made through September 30, 2021 for sailings departing January 1, 2021 to December 31, 2022.

I didn’t realize that. I was under the mistaken impression that it had been extended until 0ctober 30. Thanks for letting me know. I’m still anxious to get my points updated though. I have discounted offers through the casino that have deadlines. It won’t matter how many points I have to book them but I like to have everything in order

ampurp85 Posted October 7, 2021 #50 Share Posted October 7, 2021 @renzaIf you are cruising close to reaching the next tier you can go to guest services and get your benefits. Some very helpful people on the "blog that shall not be named" informed me of this and C&A confirmed it. I turn diamond midway through my Jan 16th harmony. I have a Jan 24th mariner a day after disembarking. I was informed I could go to guest services the first day and get my benefits activated, so that way I won't have to get the UBP.
