Coconut shrimp

Cream of asparagus soup

Chicken and matzo ball soup

Caesar salad

Smoked lobster mozzarella ravioli

 

 

Coconut shrimp came with 3, very good. Crispy with sauce to dip.

 

Asparagus soup, it's cream soup. Skip

 

Matzo ball soup, tasted like Swedish meatballs.

 

Caesar salad, always good! 

 

Lobster ravioli,  yuck! Smells terrible, like Cagneys lobster soup. I sent it away.

Crusted turkey medallions

Spaghetti putanessca 

 

 

chicken was excellent! 

Turkey medallions were amazing! 

 

spaghetti just okay, not spicy.

Day 7 dailies

I have to admit the comedy was pretty good for the most part all week.

Kinky Boots show wasn't bad. I wasn't expecting it to be the way it was, but it was fun to watch. The lead singer was very good!

 

Would I see it again? 

- My short answer,  probably not. Just like Choir of Man, which we had booked tomorrow night. Think we'll skip it and pack instead. Not that I didn't like either show, just once was enough for me to see any show on NCL.

I must say that this is the first cruise where I was disappointed with the buffet food. Even the observation lounge is nothing great.

 

One day I had pizza at the buffet, and it tasted funky.

 

Not many options as compared before.

Everything was scaled back.

I was thinking the same thing.  Its a great way to show off the ship though.

Ship is about half full.  2100 guests or so.  It is actually great compared to a full ship.  Small ship cruising on a huge ship.  High level staff told us it isn't due to capacity limits.  It is because they could not sell the rooms.

For what it’s worth, I’m on this sailing, also in a deck 15 spa cabin (starboard, pretty far aft) and haven’t heard any noise other than when it’s super wavy (there’s some rumbling from the engines and the empty hangers in our closet bang against the wall; a couple of towels solved the latter problem.)
