Dulis Posted October 11, 2021 #51 Share Posted October 11, 2021 Oasis pulled away from the pier slowly yesterday, that's for sure! My family and I waited near the Verrazzano for a few hours, gave up and left only to see that she had finally decided to depart NJ about 10 minutes after we drove away. We scooted back just in time to see her sail under the bridge. IMG_4817.MOV

I posted a video (perhaps too large?) of the boat passing underneath the bridge, but it doesn't look like it's showing up. Cripes. Maybe someday I'll figure out how this internet thing works? tomservo Posted October 12, 2021 #57 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Ship was much calmer today (it’s rocking a little right now). Tomorrow is Port Canaveral, I wonder how many people are getting off. We’re staying onboard, we’re only getting off for Coco Cay. Ice show was very good. Except for Star Class, it doesn’t look like Suites get their normal benefits at shows and events.
Rare Radio Posted October 12, 2021 Author #58 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Hello everyone, and good day. Today was a nice day, filled with relaxation and a Radio Friendly Casino Royale. . . Actually, the weather outside never really cleared up until around 5 pm. Most of the day there were cloudy skies with rain on and off throughout the day. At 5pm the sun came out and it has been clear skies. I had a great dinner tonight at Central Park 150. Some friends and I had a very nice meal using the BOGO D+ Promo. The Roasted Tenderloin was the best. I was able to enjoy LIVE Music with the 'Switched on Band" in Music Hall. They are a rock Cover Band and they are very good. The acoustics of Music Hall even make them sound better. The temperature currently is very mild with a light breeze and 76°f. Tomorrow should be much better with sunny skies and 86°f. We will be arriving into Port Canaveral tomorrow around 2:00 p.m. The ship can be viewed from the Port Canaveral webcam starting around 1:30. There are a few pics from today. Thanks for tuning in . . . Radio Switched on Band It's looking like blue skies from my balcony. Rare Radio Posted October 12, 2021 Author #69 Share Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) Hello everyone and good morning. Welcome to DAY 3 of "LIVE" from Oasis of the Seas. Wow, what a difference a day makes. I woke up today to a beautiful sunny day. The weather now is perfect with a light breeze, calm seas and 80°f. We should be able to see land in about an hour (12:30pm). We are scheduled to dock this afternoon at Cruise Terminal 1 (CT-1), just like last week. It appears currently that most passengers are out on the decks. Swimming, lounging, or just chilling in the pools. The Radio Pressroom is out here too for a few minutes. No particular plans for today. Some friends and I may just mosey over to Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar. Hmm. . . I may just get another Hurricane Burger. You should be able to see Oasis of the Seas dock at CT-1 at PortCanaveralwebcam.com starting around 1-1:15. Here are some pics from this morning. Radio I went to Park Cafe at 7:00 a.m. There is plenty of seating at 7:00 a.m. I had a Focaccia breakfast sandwich, bagel, and oatmeal Casino Royale Casino slots open at 8:00 a.m. Cute critters at the Towel Station on Deck 15 There are not many passengers out on the decks at 8:30 a.m. Ahh, blue skies and calm seas. Hey, a rainbow. . . At noon, passengers were on the decks in full force. All of the pools are busy now Edited October 12, 2021 by Radio

I am currently enjoying a freshly brewed cup of delicious coffee at the Café Promenade on Deck 5. Yes, I am already on the ship as I am doing my first consecutive cruise. That’s how Royal Caribbean says it, but most passengers just say B2B. I have to meet with about 110 other passenger on B2B in the Royal Theater by 8:30am. We should be escorted to the passenger terminal around 9-9:15. Then it should be back to the ship after we meet with immigration, and receive our new Sea Pass cards. I am in the same cabin, so I won’t have to move luggage, clothes, or the Radio Pressroom. There will be a Consecutive Cruiser lunch in the MDR at noon. All arriving passengers should be boarding by 11:30am. Yes, we are doing the same itinerary, so I will be seeing Port Canaveral, Perfect Day at CocoCay, and Nassau once again. I will also attempt to see some things on board that I missed during week 1. My next post should be after sail away later this afternoon. Sit back, relax and have some coffee (or tea). This will be a very fun week on Oasis of the Seas. He will make both reservations for you at that time. It is very easy. Radio Edited October 12, 2021 by Radio 2
