CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 #1 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I have a service from USPS that scans mail that is to be delivered to my home and sends me an email with the images of that mail. Today, I found an image of a first class letter from NCL to be delivered today. I can't even imagine what that would be as I have always gotten my correspondence from NCL via email. Has anyone else gotten a letter via USPS lately? I will be biting my nails until the mail is delivered today!!!

Your vehicle's warranty has expired and NCL would like to help you renew it. 2
Oakman58 Posted October 12, 2021 #3 Share Posted October 12, 2021 People have mentioned getting luggage tags in the mail. Perhaps that's what's coming your way.
CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 Author #4 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I am not staying in Haven so that couldn't be it. I have always gotten my luggage tags when I print out my ticket.

CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 Author #7 Share Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) Well, thank you. I am surprised if it is luggage tags as I am in a studio as well. Luggage tags so much better than a cancellation notice! Edited October 12, 2021 by CruisinNewbie11 wanted to add 1
Funky Fusion FoodsJ Posted October 12, 2021 #8 Share Posted October 12, 2021 My guess is a cruise cancellation notice.......
Rare DCGuy64 Posted October 12, 2021 #9 Share Posted October 12, 2021 We got our luggage tags in the mail a couple of months before sail date, and no, we were not in The Haven.

bbnmom Posted October 12, 2021 #11 Share Posted October 12, 2021 If it is luggage tags I would think that would be a smart move on NCL's part. Any time save with boarding under the circumstances is an advantage. At least for those that wait until they are at port to have their luggage tagged.
CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 Author #12 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I have always gotten luggage tags to be printed out when I got my tickets via email. I knew that people staying in the Haven always got luggage tags mailed, so that is a nice touch.
Rare graphicguy Posted October 12, 2021 #13 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Voting luggage tags. NCL mailed ours out and we were “only” in a Balcony Cabin.
delaware32 Posted October 12, 2021 #14 Share Posted October 12, 2021 We had the same thing . It turned out to luggage tags and some information about edocs and check in at the pier . When I saw the letter I had feared the worst but it was ok.

CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 Author #16 Share Posted October 12, 2021 (edited) 3rd class or standard is the way NCL mails advertising, generally post card or pamphlet. This is first class in an envelope. It isn't "junk" mail. I will just have to wait and see. Edited October 12, 2021 by CruisinNewbie11

Well the good news is that if it's delivered today as scheduled, the mystery will be solved. 😅
WickedRed Posted October 12, 2021 #18 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I'm in a studio for the up coming Breakaway. NCL mailed me my luggage tags. Definitely a surprise for me. Always had to print them in the past. Can't wait to find out though.

Two Wheels Only Posted October 12, 2021 #20 Share Posted October 12, 2021 It's a bill. Your cruise went up slightly in price after final payment date and now you owe NCL something. Isn't that the exact opposite of what people expect when the price goes down after final payment date? 😉
ChiefMateJRK Posted October 12, 2021 #21 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Another vote for luggage tags. I received those really nice vinyl, peel off tags for my upcoming inside, but then upgraded so the tags had the wrong room number. No worried. I just printed some labels with the right room and suck those on top. 😎 NCL told me that they don't resend the tags when your room number changes.

NikiPinkston Posted October 12, 2021 #23 Share Posted October 12, 2021 We were in a balcony stateroom & NCL mailed us our luggage tags for our August Encore sailing. I had purchased clear vinyl luggage tag holders anticipating that I would print them up, but the self-stick vinyl tags they mailed to us were much better and were what we used. Can't wait to find the answer to your mystery! Hope it's luggage tags.
Rare PTC DAWG Posted October 12, 2021 #24 Share Posted October 12, 2021 Seems like this service would take all the fun out of going to the mailbox. 🙂
CruisinNewbie11 Posted October 12, 2021 Author #25 Share Posted October 12, 2021 I just thought it odd, since money must be tight, and they would spend 1st class postage when they have always included the tags in our printed tickets.
