Vaccine card question for those who have sailed recently

I bought a holder for my card, but you can’t see the back. Do they need to see both sides?

You will need to remove it as they scan both sides at the check-in process.  Once aboard, it really won't matter.

We boarded the Millennium on September 17th, and the personnel who checked us in wanted to see both sides of the Covid-19 vaccine card.

In England we have an NHS QR code which is scanned at Southampton.

I got a combo passport/vaccine card holder. It was convenient for my trip to keep those two items together. But when anyone asked to see my passport or vaccine card they wanted them out of the holder.

I recently bought some new  holders.  
 

The original were the size of the card and almost impossible to get it out for the booster.   The new one is about 1/4 larger in both directions. 

 

When boarding Millennium on Monday they looked at backs which was empty and only scanned the front.
 

You may want to get a new holder as places in the US that used vac stickers have no space on front and they have been putting the booster sticker on the back.
