Unlimited Dining Packaged Gone?

Just noticed the UDP is gone from both of our sailings (different dates, ports and ships). They're only offering 3-night package now.  Was this announced (and I missed it)? TIA

Listed as sold out earlier this week for one of my sailings. I think it may come back. Ships are trying to get an idea of capacity.

It was missing for the NYE Oasis 12/26 seven night from Miami, became available for a day, and now it's gone again.  Perhaps it's sold out and showed up for a minute after someone cancelled?  Maybe they are limiting them for social distancing reasons?

Probably sold out, as they only offer to a limited number of passengers.

Gone from our March 20,2022 Oasis cruise was there as recently as yesterday just checked and its gone only showing the 3 night package.

They stopped selling dinner plans for our last week cruise on Symphony about a month before sailing. Many thought it was because they were sold out.  Once on board they were offering the plans.  On the live review for Symphony this week it is pointed out they are pushing dining plans.

Anthem NYE21, also not available anymore. Had it in my basket to purchase. Guess I will have to purchase 1st day of cruise.

I know we have a long way to go, but it is not listed on our Symphony cruise for Sept 2022. In fact, for dining there is only Izumi listed. I am hoping it is just because it is early and that more dining options will become available.

Why the increased interest in the UDP? For us it was because the windjammer is closed for dinner. We plan to utilize JR and Playmakers for snacks.

@Tee & Chilli, I think that one factor is (for the most part) cruise fares are so cheap right now that people are willing to spend more for the specialty restaurants.  (and the fact that no one cruised for so long means $$$ unspent)

Had UDP on Freedom and it was well worth it to US.

 

I Was hoping to get it for wife and my parents for Anthem, since it is a 9 day with 5 days at sea so lunch would be open for IZUMI, CHOPS and Jamie's, and JR. (wish they had a Playmakers as the buffalo egg rolls and cookie are amazing)

It’s on my Odyssey May 7.  It is a 9 day cruise with mostly port days so not usable at lunch and I will not be onboard.  Was considering it but not so sure now. Have never purchased a dining package.  We are in a veranda cabin.

And boom...it's back being offered on my Jan. 31 cruise on the Anthem. I grabbed it before it maybe disappears again.  Anyway $253 for 11 night cruise with 5 sea days. I'll keep checking to see if that price drops.

It is available on 5 of 6 cruises I have booked from now until the end of 2022.  I haven't checked for 2023.  Liberty, Navigator, Ovation and Allure are all good.  They only one missing is Odyssey.

It's gone again for my Anthem sailing. Glad I booked today. I'm guessing it will be back.

Still available for me on the Allure OTS on Feb 27th 2022 (28/pp per day, grats included) and Navigator OTS on April 4th 2022. (25pp per day + 18% grats_)

it has been gone from my cruise on Anthem January 9, I booked it quite a while back, 3 day and 5 day packages are still available.
