Hotels near Port Canaveral with free shuttle

We recently stayed at a Wyndham Hotel that offered parking, breakfast and a shuttle.  Had to call the hotel, couldn't book the package on line, but cost was reasonable.

Shuttle left for the port at 10:30AM, went to main port area first, then Mardi Gras pier 2nd.  About a 10 minute drive without traffic backups.  Returns were at 8, 9 and 10AM, driver recommended we do earliest possible time, so we were off ship before 8am using diamond walk off priority.

Any recommendations for a hotel near Port Canaveral with free shuttle to the port

Most all hotels have shuttle options, but you will pay the park and cruise rate.

Some of the popular ones that are also “closest to the port” that had that option (at least pre-Covid) are Country Inn & Suites, Residence Inn and Radisson At The Port.

Does anyone here know if Holiday Inn Club Vacations Cape Canaveral Beach Resort has a shuttle?  There is no mention on its website.

They have not had one in the past, so I don't suppose they've added one now.

First time thru Port Can. Flying into MCO at 9pm and have to stay overnight. Should we travel the port that night and book a hotel at the port, or stay at the airport and travel to the port in the am?

With an arrival time that late...stay at or near by MCO...Many hotels to choose from and many have comp shuttles to their hotel from MCO.

Shuttle to the ship will cost extra. They will either add it into the price of the room or charge per person to take the shuttle to the ship. Depending on how many people there are it may be cheaper to just take a cab. There were three of us and shuttle from the hotel was eight dollars per person  but instead of paying $24 we got a taxi for only 10 bucks for all of us.

As Asland says, with an arrival that late I'd stay at one of the hotels near MCO that offers shuttles from the airport and get a good nights sleep before heading to PC the next day.

So we took your advice and booked thru Choice Air at the Renaissance with next day transfers!

We are thinking a taxi from our hotel to the port instead of hotel shuttle service.  Are taxis readily available or did the hotel desk call for one?

Which hotel? If the hotel is big enough, cabs will hang out at it. If it is not a bigger hotel you'll have to call one.

We are looking at staying in Coco Beach but not sure which hotel yet.  Thank you for your reply, I figured it would be like Miami, some hotels there are taxis waiting but a few others we have had to call for service.
