Later today the 1st TA will take place of ms Rotterdam sailing from Amsterdam to Ft. Lauderdale.

This is planned at 5 pm local time. (This is 11 am EDT)  You can check  live with 2 different cams.

This one is right at the dock: https://live.netcamviewer.nl/Webcam-Kade-PTA/242

Th other is from the port office, the view changes from time to time, but most of the times you will see Rotterdam at the terminal and of course sailing from Amsterdam: https://live.netcamviewer.nl/Havenkantoor-Amsterdam/812

Thanks for the link; as the camera opened, I was able to see people walking through the jetway (is it still a jetway if it's connected to a ship, or is it a shipway?) onto the ship and my heart skipped a beat, I was so excited for them!

Smooth Sailing!  🙂🙂🙂

One question ... is that an empty lifeboat davit starboard aft?

In front of the ship it looks like one of the tenders in the the water. There is one missing on portside.

Finally looked at the longer distance view of the ship ... now I see the missing portside lifeboat in the water just alongside of the bow. I should have looked at this view first ... all would have been clear.

The captain just announced we are not leaving until at least 10:30 PM this evening. We will also miss the stop in Zeebrugge  tomorrow and go right to Le Havre.

It's looking more like leaving on a hospital ship...

Because of the wind no doubt. Larger ships are not allowed through the IJmuiden locks with side winds above force 5 on the Beaufort scale and above (17-21kts). Wind is far higher than that, until late at night, when it dies down a bit.

And have a feeling that this won't be only port to be cancelled.

I don’t seem to be able to get the webcam.  It just says “Currently Offline”. Could you post the link again?
