For sure. As an investor, we certainly want to see those numbers go up, however, as the cruiser, half full would be an awesome experience.  🙂  Hope to meet you on board.

For stone island, go through the cruiseline. We went through a tour company called “mazatlan tours” and it was really confusing. Was hard to find them at the port, then they wanted to take us back for the ship at 3, which was cutting it too close for comfort so we asked for 2pm, so our tour guide worked out some sort of deal with the cruiseline excursion people and we sort of merged on their excursion, which really confused a lot of the people in that excursion. I originally was going to book via the cruiseline but my friend wanted to do this other company, but yeah I should have insisted. Heres some photos of stone island excursion 

 

 

 

 

 

 

the thing with the horses, I shouldn’t have ridden them, but I agreed before I realize the abuse that was happening to these horses. The whole time I apologized to my poor horse. There is a lot of vendors at stone island, be prepared for that, water was not clear but temp was good (red tide was going on yesterday)

So when we got back to our room yesterday after stone island, I noticed that my prescription glasses, which I left on my nightstand because I only took my prescription sunglasses to Mazatlan, were bent all crazy! I thought maybe my best friend broke them by accident, but had a call from guest services that they knocked them off the nightstand and room steward stepped on them. Luckily I was able to bend my glasses back into shape (they are still funky looking) and I actually have an appointment with my eye doctor next week to get new prescriptions. I assured my room steward it was ok, but there was no offer to pay for my glasses or anything which was kind of a bummer. I won’t be a Karen about it, considering accidents happen and I’m getting new glasses soon, but the offer would have been nice. Also, I swear our room steward cleans our room 3-4x a day, just a little overkill if you ask me

Accidents do happen but regardless NCL (not the room steward) should pay for a new pair.  That offer should have been made when you talked to guest services.  Just my opinion.

Personally I’d talk to guest services about covering the cost of the new glasses

They've probably got more time than they know what to do with only having to clean half their normal rooms.

Four ships due in Cabo today: Bliss, Disney Wonder, Celebrity Millennium, and Grand Princess ships. Wonder is already here; from my balcony I can hear that chipper Disney music. The Celebrity ship should be here shortly if it isn’t already, with the Princess arriving close to our all-aboard time of 1pm. 
 

It’s a gorgeous day in Cabo. The Lands End boat tour is a nice short excursion (and less than the $50 ShoreEx, yay) but I can’t wait to return during whale watching season.

Thank you so much for the time and effort you are putting in the most entertaining live review! It is so appreciated! I am counting down to my first solo cruise on 11/14. Your packing and excursion tips as well as the menus and daily activity brochure have been super helpful in my planning. 

 

I learned I need  to pack something warm and don't use the salon for my afro! 😂

last night went to Taste, got the pork which was good, no appetizer. I am getting tired of all the eating lol Liars club was so funny, and look at that big win I got around midnight last night! The slot attendants were cheering me on, got 67 spins and collected 12 Buffalo heads

No, they have a "normal" number of rooms, but there are fewer stewards right now.

Wow that’s pretty disturbing about the horses. Can you elaborate on that? We have an outside excursion booked for the same thing but now I’m second guessing it.

the whole time i was there, I never saw a place for the horses to have water or any place that could have been a spot for them to drink water.

Random photos from today! We took some random tour by a local guy that was about 40 min to the arch. (Wouldn’t recommend, book in advance through the ship, we just procrastinated)
