Rare MeganGC1983 Posted January 6, 2022 #403 Share Posted January 6, 2022 With the influx of Omicron, they are really cracking down on travel testing. My Walgreens told me no testing was available if it was for travel. FYI
K_e_short Posted January 6, 2022 #404 Share Posted January 6, 2022 It might also be because many countries other then the U.S. require a PCR test. The U.S. is the only country i know of that is using that for entry into the country and for cruises. So it might be a reminder if you are trying to fly to Canada, U.K., etc. that the antigen test is not for travel. And to be technical you are not getting the antigen test to travel out of the country. You are getting the antigen test to follow the rules of the CDC (U.S.) to go on a cruise ship.
Rare ledges1 Posted January 6, 2022 #405 Share Posted January 6, 2022 In my area, CVS is only drug store offering Rapid antigen test and that is in Pensacola. I can not find any CVS in Mobile, AL that offers the Rapid test and Mobile will be a cruise port in March.
firefly333 Posted January 6, 2022 #406 Share Posted January 6, 2022 1 hour ago, sharon&family said: My reservation for my covid test at cvs says that the test is not accepted for most travel. It is the rapid antigen test which is what I think everyone has been using. Has anyone else read that it was not accepted? Is it accepted by Carnival? I've used it 3 times. Saw the title and you scared me. Its cya time for CVS so they dont guarantee it for all forms of travel.
