'Secret' Biscuits

Strange how memories just pop into one's head for no apparent reason.  Did people really have a conversation about these biscuits or am I imagining it?  I've had a scroll through here and found nothing but......

Assuming they exist(ed) are they available on the Queen Elizabeth or were they unique to the QM2?

For some reason, cookies are often not put out in the morning and if I occasionally wanted a cookie with my morning coffee, I asked in the Lido [QV] and 'an under the counter cookie' appeared.

I took it up to the Grill's lounge one day and from then on, a cookie appeared with my morning latte. Service with a smile morphed into 'service with a smile and a cookie'! 🙂

On a summer trip on QE my husband was unable to locate any cookies even after asking staff possibly because the buffet was closed between afternoon tea and dinner. I was 5 months pregnant at the time and cried from sheer disappointment. They really are that delicious.

Disembarked today - the entire 12 days on QM2 there were only white chocolate chip and cranberry cookies in the buffet (despite a sign saying assorted cookies every day) 😞

How many varieties must be involved for the selection to be considered an “assortment”, rather than, perhaps, a “pairing”?

A fair point 🙂 I  was not clear enough - it was 1 type of cookie containing white chocolate & cranberry in it

Please tell me that's not a real thing 🤢

I hope not — I was simply attempting to match as unlikely a combination (using individually enjoyable flavors)  of ingredients as that of white chocolate and cranberry.  An alternative pairing: ginger bread and garlic also came to mind.
