carnival phone lines a nightmare!

I called Jet Blue Airlines earlier today in reference to a flight that I couldn’t find on their website. When I called the automated system it advised me that the wait to speak with a customer service representative was ninety six minutes. I had the option to have them call me back later in the day. I finally received a return call approximately two hours later. Good luck!

Sorry about your mom, however you and thousands of others are all doing the same thing ( trying to cancel/change dates etc.).

 

Saw on another post that wait times were 2 1/2 hours. Try calling first thing in the morning.

I just noticed your post.  Have you tried the emergency number?  It may be worth a shot.

I know Princess is working reduced hours until Jan 2nd.  They are working

only 8am to 12noon PT.  
So, try calling Carnival first thing!

I was trying to call over the weekend and the phone system wasn't working for me at all, just hung up saying there was something wrong. But I found an alternative number to call, didn't have to wait on hold long, and they were able to help me with all my questions. It's their online support team, I picked the number for online help but didn't selection a number after (only option they give you is for excursions, don't pick it) and just let it dial on it's own at that point, it will put you in the que to speak to someone. Was on hold like 5-10 minutes tops.

ended up taking 2 hours 15 minutes from hold to completion.  FYI in case anyone is in the same situation.  We originally had a more expensive cruise booked.  Rebooked at cheaper rate (one less person) and were given OBC for the difference when we transferred it. I didn't know if we would be able to use that for part of the additional cost of an extra person but we were not.  No big deal, just thought I would share in case any one is wondering about doing a similar thing.  There were open cabnis available so we were able to switch cabins and add a fourth person.  She saw a different final price than I did but once she completed it, it was the same price I had seen doing a mock booking.  She had to talk to someone to get our OBC correct as for some reason it took it off but since the same casino offer is available now, she had no problems.

Today I starting calling at 9:00am, and they say they are so busy you can’t even wait on hold. Disconnects you. My cruise is Jan 2nd. 🥺

Same—I am trying to get thru re: our Jan 2 cruise…no luck yet.
