First Princess Cruise & Cannot Find…

Hello.  Is there somewhere in the booking where I can purchase flowers or an anniversary package?  There doesn’t seem to be anything like that in “Celebration Packages”.  My parents will be celebrating their 66th wedding anniversary onboard and I would like to have something in the room for them.  I tried to piece something together but I can only find champagne.  Champagne will be nice but I would like something in addition to that.  Thank you.

Are you on the cruise as well? If so, there is a section on Onboard Reservations for this type of thing. If you aren't on the cruise, I'm not sure but I would think that you could arrange the same thing through Princess.

If you are on the cruise with your parents, add them has traveling companions to your medallion app and you can put in through the app it's their anniversary.  If not, i would try to either call Princess directly or chat with someone via the website.  You should be able to get chocolate covered strawberries or something delivered to their cabin.

Checking my Spring cruise there are no anniversary packages like before the pandemic and only cakes or a birthday package & a bon voyage party.

We’re celebrating a big milestone anniversary next year & they only show a complimentary anniversary celebration which previously was a small dining room cake & a cabin door sign.

Thank you for your responses.  Yes, we are on the same cruise.

 

Thank you for the suggestion to add them as companions or to contact Princess.  I haven’t downloaded the app yet so I will look into it.  Perhaps I am not seeing all the options as I am looking through the online booking instead.

Checking my MedallionClass app I do not see any packages so the limited number of packages shown in the Cruise Personalizer might be the only ones available..

Some posters have commented that they could not order flowers pre-cruise but were able to do it once on board.  I am on board the Regal now and will try to check at Passenger Services and let you know.

Congratulations to your parents! 🥂 We are celebrating 50 years on this cruise and would love to make it to 66!!

You can order the flowers once onboard--just go to service desk.

I would not have thought of that. I was told Princess is changing vendors and flowers would not available. I’ll ask on my next cruise in March.

We met Maryna at Passenger Services on the first day when I spoke with her and we hit it off. She was trying to get us a complimentary upgrade since we are sailing to celebrate our 50th anniversary.  We knew she was trying but were happy to stay in the cabin we had.  She actually searched the ship for us that night to tell us she couldn’t get us an upgrade.  We told her it was no problem and we appreciated her efforts.  She was so sincere and sweet!  We were totally blown away when a bottle of champagne (a great one!) and these flowers were delivered tonight.

It seems that although prior to the pandemic it was easy to order flowers pre-cruise, that option has not been available since cruising restarted.

 

Although it is possible for someone on board to order flowers for someone else on board, it is currently not possible for someone not on the cruise to order flowers to be delivered to someone cruising on Princess. This has been a big disappointment to a number of people.

These were ordered on the Grand Princess Oct 2021. It’s called the Princess arrangement  and cost $39. We ordered them at the guest services desk. There was no list or price sheet to look at, but during the ‘before times’ I’ve ordered every type of flower arrangement Princess had so knew what they used to do. BTW this is a stunning Princess. arrangement and much bigger than the before times. Your experience might differ.  As far as I know you can not order them in advance anymore.  My CVP has not been able to help me get them in advance and the option online is gone. I’m not even certain all ships will accommodate. I plan on ordering some on January 6th when I board the Ruby though.

Thank you, everyone, for sharing you knowledge and pictures.  I will head to Guest Services to order some when I board and will bring some champagne with me.  Problem solved.
