If you mean the Retreat Pool bar, no it does not serve early morning coffee. It opens at 10am.  IC was still open 24hrs a day on Enchanted. Coffee is available at the Wakeview bar early I believe.  Good Spirits is adjacent to IC and I dont think it was opened that early.

I was referring to the Good Spirits Bar since I usually read during the early morning hours & I can drink numerous cups of coffee.

From the patters that have been posted I though the IC was closed early mornings & though it was strange.

Yep, I know, it is almost like asking for trouble getting all those people so close together.  We will just bring a backpack that will fit the "important" stuff in, just in case, as things keep changing.  Way back I read they were testing day before.  No one really knows or trusts the answers you get because it is always different and that causes stress.

Hi guys & gals..great post here..thanks for all the info..DW & I will be on the Enchantment 2/28..2 questions: 1 ) Is there any Latino music on board that you saw/ read?  and 2) Remind of me of when the 2 formal nights are- the 1st sea day ( Tuesday 3/2 for us..) and the 2nd to last night ( Tues. 3/8..) ??.. I think I may have read that somewhere..just want to verify..thanks!!

We are doing the same.  Although I did read that we will be getting off the ship (in FLL) anyway to go through customs, etc. So will take a small bag with us.

 

Someone on another thread said they are taking at home test kits to use the last night of the first leg. That way no surprises the next day and, if they are positive, can get everything packed up.

I sailed Grand in Oct 2021.  I would be in buffet when they opened.  It was very quiet and relaxing.  The wait staff had nothing to do;  so they would fetch me anything I wanted.  Coffee was not self serve;  the wait staff would bring it to you.

Just a note-

i know not everyone likes the apo but

on board the Crew Chat feature in the App has definitely been useful. They have sorted out requests or issues no matter how small. Remember it’s always an option

We last cruised over Thanksgiving on Princess and thoroughly enjoyed the cruise however masking was pretty optional and only issues with ports was Jamaica as couldn’t travel independently outside port shops.

The lack of some performances may be of concern to some folks and it does seem to be a cutback for the current cruises.  We sometimes even skip the production shows we've see so many times before & just hang out at a bar.  

I have my suspicions are that we'll be doing the same on our next voyages as well.

My mom and aunt are on the cruise now. They did the whale-watching tour in Dominica. She sent a picture of a whale!

Maybe this will help clear up some things in several posts. 

For those sailing a month from now, there is no way to predict Port changes or shows etc. We have only missed a single port in 15 days now. Our big shows were canceled due to cast covid. Replacement shows with smaller repeat performers. 

 

As for at home test the night before. What if you test positive but is false? You packed for nothing. If you test positive they find you, send you to your room and do a retest. If still negative, you oack everything and get escorted off ship to the quarantine hotel. 

 

If b2b and having to get off ship, it's basically a short tour of the terminal😉 Down the ramp, through customs and right back to the ship with short sit down in the terminal until ship is cleared 

 

The big take away??? Be ready to go with the flow a little, expect changes and be prepared to wear your mask in what I've seen to be pretty common sense. Even in restricted ports, we've been able to use local approved vendors.

I wonder if the cast of the production show is even still on board?
