Hi, I am hoping to get a bit of advice. We have today booked a cruise to sail on the Navigator in cabin 850 and although we aren’t new to cruising it will be our very first time with Regent so we know absolutely nothing really about best cabin positions etc. I have tried to do a bit of research through these boards but have been unable to find any reviews for this cabin so it would be great if someone knows anything about it while I still have the option to change it if necessary

With over 200 nights on Navigator, I know there is a definite, unfixable vibration in the aft suites.  It is highly recommended not to book suites aft of the rear elevator.  You are close, so you may be ok.  As @Silver Sweetheartssays, you are above the casino.  I’ve never stayed there, so can’t say for sure.  I usually stay forward of the front elevators on Deck 5 or 6.

Thank you everyone for your very helpful replies, I did read about the vibration  problem but thought maybe 850 being that bit further forward from the aft would be okay however I didn’t realise the cabin was above the casino not sure how noisy that would be so maybe I will see what is still available with a view to changing.

Although 850 will probably be OK, I would move forward to say between 810 to 825 if there is availability. Do not go too far to the front of the ship or you may be disturbed by the forward winches/anchor chains.

Any of the D grade suites on deck 7 would also be a good choice.

Navigator is an excellent ship; compact & friendly. The suites are a good size.

Dear Navigator Lovers,

This is probably not the place, but we booked a Grand Suite on the Navigator and wanted to know what you love about the Navigator and, besides the aft vibration issues, what you do not like.  If this topic has been discussed before, please let me know.

Thanks and stay safe.

We have stayed in a Grand Suite on the Navigator.  Are you looking for comments about the Suite or the ship in general?

I've booked cabin #938. Is there anything I should be aware of? Noise, location, good things,

If you refer to the 'sticky' on this Board, SuiteGuru, there are reviews of the Navigator suites on deck 9.

Main issues appear to be the small balconies and noise from the Pool Deck.

With almost 500 nights, Navigator is our favorite ship. We like the fact that it is small and has a rear observation deck. The vibrations are character plus we aren't into "fancy" decorations - absolutely our favorite.
