RoyalUp Perks Question

We are currently booked in an Ocean View Balcony on Odyssey of The Seas, we have an opportunity to bid on the following categories:

Grand Suite - 2 Bedroom

Grand Suite - 1 Bedroom

Junior Suite

Spacious Ocean View Balcony

I want to confirm that we DO NOT get any of the perks associated with each category, such as Coastal Kitchen, etc.

I found the following under the Royal Up Terms & Conditions:

"Any promotions associated with the original booking will remain in effect. The Upgrade will not be eligible to receive any promotions or benefits that are applicable to the stateroom had it been originally booked at that stateroom category."

Thanks for the usual help 🙂

You DO get all of the perks except the extra points.

When I try the link for the Royal Up I get this pop up.

"Please ensure your sailing is within the next 30 days
Please ensure there are no errors in the information you entered"

The cruise is Feb 26th so it is within the next 30 days and I even tried copying and pasting the reservation number just to make sure I had it correct.

If you booked thru Costco they don't participate in RU

I sometimes get that message, enter the info again  and offers come up.

This was booked directly through Royal Caribbean.   Booked on Saturday morning.   I'm hoping it just takes a few days for new reservations to get into the Royal Up system.  I'll try again later.

Yes it takes  a few days

The only ones that give you any perks are the two GS suites. All you get in a JS is a larger room and a bathtub, and all you get in a Spacious ocean view is about 10 square feet more of a balcony. That one could actually end up as a downgrade depending on where it is located.

Unless you need the second bedroom, the 1 bedroom GS gives you the best bang for your buck.
