Cruise night coupon books

We will be on the Emerald Princess before too long and were wondering if Cruise Night Coupon Books are in the cabins upon embarkation or does one have to request one?

Check your booking information.  Did you book with an independent TA?  If you are getting CNCB, it will be listed under Services in Cruise Personalizer.  Also, there are no more physical books - its all virtual.  And, it's virtually useless by all reports.  Unless you like spending in spa, stores, and art auction.  I don't even care if we get ours now - happy to give it away.

I enjoyed the coupons for 2 for 1 dinner & large bottle of H2O (if you buy a dinner). No use for wine - don't drink it.

The water one is gone.  The bottle of wine is some plonk not interested in TYVM.

Thank you for the quick responses. I checked the Cruise Personalizer and yes it is listed as our TA must have requested it. I do remember on our cruise in Jan 2019 that we had an actual physical one and used it that first night for the 2 for 1 at Sabatini's. Was hoping that we could do that again, but if not, that's the way it goes. Just glad to be cruising again! 😊👍

You should get it via email before your cruise, but many of us didn't, so just speak to guest services, on board and they'll email you one. At least that's what they did for me. The free bottle of wine was basically $7 grocery store wine....not good at all.

No more 2 for 1 at specialty. As others have said, it's a bottle of wine, now, but only on departure day.

 

If you are platinum and elite, some of those won't work, anyway. It's not combinable with other offers.

 

Example: In the spa, we got 15% of for doing the service on a port day. This invalidated our 10% platinum discount and the coupon book discount.

 

Same in the shops.

 

We did get $10 in free play from the casino. We also used it in the shops, but this was before we knew about the platinum discount. Our 10% platinum would have done the job just the same.

This is the coupon book currently given on the Ruby. Go to the guest services desk to get it printed out. In my experience they did collect the coupon when I used it. Only you can decide if you think these are worthwhile to you. Personally I liked a couple of them. 
The free bottle of wine imho was quite nice. To each their own.

I’ve been told that if you go to guest services they will print it out for you.

Thanks for posting. Now I need to find a partner so I can get the free bottle of wine. 
 

I’m on a B2B cruise. Are they dated?  If not I could use some of them on my next cruise.

That's exactly what they did for us on the Sky. Good thing we had a hard copy, as Sabatini's staff knew nothing about the offer of the free bottle of plonk when we dined there the first night. Once I gave them the printed page from the Coupon "book" they ran off and found a bottle for us.

Thank you all so much for the great informational responses. We did just the other day get the digital copy of the Cruise Night Coupon Book. There are a few things we may use it for. As for the free bottle of wine, hey why not. We tend to be not too fussy about our wine. If we like it, that's great. If not, no harm done. I will print a couple of the pages or may ask quest services for the hard copy. Thanks again for all the info! 👍

those spa coupons look better than 10% off for platinum cruisers.  what were the spa offers while on board?  i do not think i will be getting the book offer.  interested in massage and facial services.

Most of the coupons look “meh” - typical “spend $$$$ get a free $” offers.  The free wine is decent - Princess usually has decent entry level wines, so a decent perk.  But I do like the free bracelet and charms.  It’s good for the shops because you have to  go into the shops to pick it up, and they generate foot traffic, and good for the user because you aren’t on the hook to buy anything.   I’m thinking this will be fun for our 5yo to go collect.   
 

thanks for posting!  We wouldn’t normally go search out the coupon book, but now we might.

This is the 2-page Shipwide savings coupon booklet I received electronically earlier this year.  As you can see, it is a condensed format, and far less wasteful than the one I was sent two weeks ago, which is identical to the one that was printed out above for @HaveDogWillTravel on the Ruby Princess.  The expiration date for both is December 31, 2023, so I am at a total loss to understand why the newer version has been adopted.
