We are going on an Alaskan cruise out of Seattle. We are traveling on Princess. The day of we leave the cruise do you think we could make an 11:00 flight?

Just remember “Arrival Time” (subject to change) is not the same as Disembarkation Time (when passengers may leave the ship).
FWIW, There’s a reason why A.M. fares at/on disembarkation airports/days are low👀

How inconvenient would a somewhat later flight be?  if that 11:00 flight is the only one that would get you home that day, I'd probably try it. If the next flight was, say, 1:00 or 2:00 PM only a damn fool would want the sweat and hustle and still risk missing the early flight.

Thank you for your thread on the Ask a Cruise Question forum! 👍 However, it is the forum for general questions regarding cruising & your inquiry is about a specific homeport. It is off topic there.

To help you out, I have moved your thread to the West Coast Departures forum where it will be on topic. This is where disembarkation and transportation information regarding Seattle is discussed.

Hope this will be satisfactory and glad to have you aboard Cruise Critic! emo35.gif

Happy sails,

As I have mentioned previously, we fly out of Seattle most of the time since we live nearby.  We do not have a problem with the security line because we have Pre-check and "Clear".  We flew out last week and even though the security line was very long, we were through it in less than 7 minutes.  Pre check and Clear have been a big plus for us not only at SeaTac but other airports as well. Have not had to wait the last few years.

An 11 AM flight could be tight.  Saturdays at Pier 91 could have as many as 5,000 - 5,100 disembarking between the Crown Princess and HAL's Eurodam.  On Sundays, there could be as many as 5,600 passengers between the Westerham and the Discovery Princess.  Granted, the numbers could be less if the ships are sailing at less than capacity.  Also heading to SeaTac are the Pier 66 passengers on NCL Bliss (Sat) or Encore (Sun) that can carry 4K each.   But regardless, it is still a lot of people heading to SeaTac at the same time.

So, either plan to 'self assist' off the ship, or if your flight qualifies for Port Valet, use that service.  The important thing is to disembark as early as possible to make that 11 AM flight. Put the Spot Saver app (from SeaTac Airport) on your phone to increase your chances.  Or as @Husky61suggested, sign up for Clear.

Good luck.
