Rental car from Boston cruise terminal

I'm looking to rent a car that's walking distance from the Boston Cruise Terminal to drive back to NJ. Any suggestions?

Where in NJ? As a former Bostonian who is from New Jersey, a quick Uber from the pier to South Station and the train home would most likely be a lot more enjoyable end to your vacation. And no one way drop fees.

Rental cars would be at or near the airport which is only a few miles away.  I don't know but you may ask your major companies if they can offer pick up at the Ray Flynn (old name Black Falcon pier) terminal to pick your waiting car up and not have to go all the way into a Logan terminal desk.

Enterprise may be willing to deliver a car to you at Black Falcon -- I do not think there is likely to be a site within easy walking distance -- but the earlier post raised a good question: what is wrong with Amtrak?

Agreed, take Amtrak to Newark or NY Penn, and then NJ Transit if needed.

Definitely would need NJ transit if the OP’s exit is 8a, and then an Uber from Princeton junction.
