USA ETSA

Hi... in June we'll be flying into Vancouver for a few days and I've registered on the Canadian Government site for their eTA.   We then join Cunard Queen Elizabeth, out of Vancouver for a 10 day cruise to Alaska.   Do you think I need to request an US ETSA for our port visits to Juneau, Ketchikan, etc.?

Thank you for any help.

Hi and thank you for the prompt reply.   I assume the cruise line check this on embarkation. Our last Alaska cruise was out of Seward, via Seattle and Anchorage, terminating in Vancouver.   This was well over 10 years ago and I've absolutely no memory of what we needed to do.

That's very true! Also worth noting that ESTAs only last 2 years - or until your passport expires. So its not a great idea to do it too far in advance.
