I agree. What's the point of an enclosed balcony unless one lives in a house in a cold winter state. Certainly not on a ship;

The have rooms with so called Infinite Verandas, which the veranda is part of the room. Not my cup of tea, but I'll be in one in November (free cruise so I guess I can't be picky).
