Reflection Aqua?

Are there more aqua class cabins on Reflection than other S class ships, or is that only more suites, please? Thinking of booking but don't want to see more people in Blu.

I believe there are more AQ rooms on Reflection than on the other s class ships

We have sailed the Reflection three times with two sailings in Aqua class. Both times Blu did feel "crowded" because there are more AQ passengers eating in what appeared to be the same size Blu DR as the other Solstice class ships.

If you’re looking for a private dining room feel, maybe go for a suite with Luminae?

We walked out the first night as the service was so slow and inattentive.  Slow the second night.   It was due to the increase in number of diners on the Reflection.  Not the staff's fault at all.  Then we were told to arrive at 5:30 pm to avoid the crowds.  It is definitely more crowded on that ship.

I’m not sure what they can do to reduce the crowds.  You could say there are too many people at the pool or in the theater.

 

Would a smaller ship like Viking be preferable?  Fewer crowds?  I thought the service was good on Viking.  My partner prefers Celebrity and I can see why.

On the other S-class ships, there were fewer cruisers assigned to Blu.  When we were last in Reflection, there were 86 more passengers able to dine in Blu I was told.  Very busy every night.    We felt bad for the staff.  There were additional tables for 2 added which led to the crowded feeling.

the Reflection has more AQ & Suites than the other S Class ships but the sitting in Blu and Luminae were not increased accordingly. So Luminae on the Reflection can be crowded when the ship is at full capacity.

What do people say about the MDR on that ship?  Too crowded?

There are definitely more individuals on the Reflection and it is noticeable in some areas such as around the pool and in Blu.    It was less noticeable in the MDR

The most it would be is 40 additional AQ guests compared to the others. Reflection has 150 AQ cabins. Solstice 149, and Silhouette/Equinox/Eclipse have 130.

When are you planning to go? Was just on Reflection last week in Aqua Class. Dining room was half filled, at best, the entire week.  Not once did we have to wait and only a couple times did I see people in the back half of the dining room away from the windows.  Always had a choice of loungers in the Persian Garden, too.  

 

Will that change in the next few months if things open up? Probably.
