Maybe I'm a stick in the mud. But fine dining without a nicely starched white tablecloth is NOT fine dining IMO

Sabatini's on Princess is a freestanding restaurant without tablecloths . Canaletto's on HAL is in a section of the Lido that isn't used during the day .

But the tablecloths came out on the tables before dinner . We did prefer the service , the food and the dining experience at the HAL restaurant .

The Pizza on HAL is at the New York Pizza on the aft Lido deck near the pool

We ordered a pizza which was delivered to our Retreat Cabana on HAL . Great view but the pizza had  little or no cheese or sauce and wasn't very good on the day that we tried it . For a place that touts itself as New York Pizza - it wasn't very good .

I'm loving this comparison.  With cost "possibly" similar between a HAL Neptune Suite and a Princess PH for the same cabin location it is nice to see comparison photos and hear your experience.  Thank you for doing this.  Cherie

The "Jewels of the Sea" soup at the Tamarind, on the Koningsdam was some of the best soup I've ever tasted!

We loved it too . And we really missed the Tamarind on the Enchanted Princess . So much so that when we got home from the Princess cruise we went to our favorite Pan Asian Restaurant - for lunch !
