Rare Wanna_Cruize Posted March 27, 2022 #2 Share Posted March 27, 2022 You can order a drink, one of your 15 per day, and if you don't like it, I guess you can hand it off to your friend. I wouldn't do it right there at the bar. I might walk away and hand it off later. However, you will get $#!& online here for doing it. ' Or, you can order two drinks and pay for one. That being said, I may have, in the past, found out what the Piano Bar guy liked, ordered one for myself, and then handed it (untouched) off to him.
ober134 Posted March 27, 2022 #3 Share Posted March 27, 2022 Is it done? Yes. Is it against the rules? Yes. Do you risk having Cheers taken away without a refund? Yes.
Elaine5715 Posted March 27, 2022 #4 Share Posted March 27, 2022 Are you asking if you can use your CHEERS to get a drink or are you asking if you can charge a drink for them to your S&S?

If you're paying for them. You can't use your Cheers package to do so .
bucfan2 Posted March 27, 2022 #6 Share Posted March 27, 2022 (edited) Guess that’s one way of creating your own bogo….don’t imagine the cruise line is interested in your business practice tho. Edited March 27, 2022 by bucfan2
firefly333 Posted March 27, 2022 #7 Share Posted March 27, 2022 I could be wrong but I kinda remember maybe a 5 minute waiting period between ordering drinks. Like if you want shot of something and a drink. On your cheers, had to wait to order the 2nd drink.
AandBmom Posted March 27, 2022 #8 Share Posted March 27, 2022 You can order drinks 5 minutes apart. It is supposed to be for you. If it ends up being drank by someone else, it does. Just saying. As others have stated, you aren't "allowed" to purposely buy someone else a drink on your package.
Rare 1025cruise Posted March 27, 2022 #9 Share Posted March 27, 2022 Yes, if you have cheers, you can purchase someone a drink on your account. It will be charged to your account, not debited against your package.
Tradestock Posted March 27, 2022 #10 Share Posted March 27, 2022 Here is a copy/paste from Carnival.com FAQs, Know Before You Go, Eating and Drinks, What is the Cheers Beverage Program? It is found under Program Restrictions in this section. "> Guests may purchase a round of drinks for themselves and friends. One drink will count towards the CHEERS! program and the remaining drinks will be charged to a guest’s Sail and Sign® account"

You don’t mention one way or another but if they are in the same room as you and over the age of 21 they must also buy Cheers.
