Snack Shack on Coco Cay has it as well

Doesn't help much when people want something to drink in the evening on the ship. Park Cafe closes at 6PM so that doesn't help much either. After the Windjammer closes it is Cafe Promenade, Sorrento's, or a bar.

I just provide info, I don't solve problems 😉

Our first night we dined at 150 Central Park - we were skeptical of the food on Royal but wow! What a fantastic meal! As good as a fine dining restaurant on land: (warning, food porn coming up!)0B37BA2B-29A7-43CF-BEA6-0964754CF707.thumb.jpeg.65c4c1854f82c8b5cad18b015f793a86.jpeg
Soft buttery rolls with truffle butter, seasonings - delish!

I'm a little more than halfway through the second Atlee Pine book by David Baldacci.  It's OK.  I usually finish at least one book on a cruise but didn't this time.

I am working on the 3rd Archer book by Baldacci at the moment. I think I've read the first Atlee Pine book, it sounds familiar. It's not in my goodreads list though, so I can't say for sure. I notice the 3rd book in that series is a Pine/Puller crossover, so I'll definitely at least read that one.

I enjoy some of his other series: John Puller, Amos Decker, Will Robie all are great.

It rained pretty much all day today, our first sea day. But the 4:30 pm aqua show went on - the 2:30 one was canceled. Didn’t see it, though - we had reservations at 5 at Jamie’s.

No food-porn-worthy pictures these last two nights BUT the escargot in the MDR were excellent and the grand marnier soufflé was off the charts!

Tonight was Jamie’s, which we both thought was good but not great. We had an excellent waiter and great service. Arancini, garlic shrimp, truffle tagliatelle, lamb chops and lasagna were good - no standout here. Pavlova was awful; sorbets were so so, not a lot of intense flavor.

Now we’re waiting to see Grease - should be fun.
Tomorrow is Falmouth, Jamaica and it’s supposed to rain again. All week, in fact. We might try to find some jerk chicken near the port.

We had one cruise where it rained almost all week, too. That doesn't happen often in the Caribbean. I think that cruise was in April also. Hopefully, the rain clears out for next week. I'm looking forward to sun and heat.

I wasn't sure about the Archer series at first but did end up liking them very much.

I'm waiting for the library to get the next Decker one in. I have so many series going I can wait for it to come in.

Haven't read any of the Archer series yet.  I'll need to give it a try.  Loved Amos Decker (also waiting for the new one) and Will Robie.  I also liked the Camel Club series quite a bit.  John Puller was good but seemed like a rip-off of Jack Reacher.  You can't really go wrong with David Baldacci.

I did notice that my specific itinerary (Oct 2 - CocoCay on Day 2, At Sea for Day 3, St Thomas Day 4, St Maarten Day 5, At Sea for Days 6 and 7) doesn't appear to begin until sometime in May, and then it comes every 4 weeks. There are other routings with those same islands, but in a different order on the alternative weeks.

This is our same itinerary in late September. Looking forward to sailing on Harmony. We were on Odyssey at the end of Feb/early March and loved it. Especially 270 for breakfast and the aft view.

We ate at Jamie’s last night. Nice venue, very good service. But the food was only ok - not well seasoned, flavorless lamb chops, lasagna was the best thing we ordered, pavlova was awful.

Grease was really fantastic - great dancing, superb talent! Several performers were (dare I say) Broadway?- caliber.  I would highly recommend.

Guitar guy Wojciech was excellent - we’ll go see him again.

Giant 90’s party last night - very loud and crazy but fun to watch, even for this senior couple.

Was the same woman playing the piano in the Schooner Bar...Amanda something (I think)?  We weren't too impressed.  To be fair, we really only gave her one chance.

Being an April I have heard them all, here is the continuation I learned, at least April showers bring something nice 🤣

But the rhyme stops too soon for May showers breed mosquitos for June.
