Anyone going down to welcome the Pacific Explorer in to Sydney on Monday?

I will be on a charter boat going out to meet her at Sydney Heads. Hopefully get some good pictures.

It is daytime when she arrives in Sydney harnour - 9:30am through the heads.

Sunrise & Today should both have something at the back end of their show tomorrow. It has most definitely been staged for maximum viewing.

We are on a peninsula in the National Park between the lake and ocean.... No data... No tv...so nice!! 

She has slowed down a little. 10pm has passed,, but she will be level with Harrington in an hour. 1am for Pacific Palms I would say.

We will be there to see her sail in. So excited after 2 years to see a ship in the harbour

Well here we are and only a bit of a mention that the ships are returning, and some stock footage

watching between the sydney harbour cam and marinetraffic site and cruisemapper...so exciting and finally the day is here.  Aww just read on the link listed above and it says thru the heads 930 and docking at OPT.  It also said no ships with passengers until 31 May??

I just typed Pacific Explorer webcam and it came up.  It looks a bit dark where she is. It says the footage is from 0248 so not live?

That image seems to be behind time. It has 2.48am

Channel 9 is showing live footage. The Pacific Explorer has come through the Heads.😁

 

P.S. It was only a very short clip. ☹️

Yea! I can't wait to see her on the Sydney Harbour cam!  It's too bad they only showed a short clip.

ABC morning news has a live feed up following her through the Heads and up the harbour. She’s maybe 10 or 15 minutes away from Circular Quay now.

The channels have showed only short clips. Maybe the best (if I can call it that) is channel 2 that has part of the screen showing the ship in the harbour.

 

P.S. The announcer on Channel 2 just said that they are going to show the Pacific Explorer cruiseship arriving in the harbour. At the  moment there is an ad (yes - I know the ABC doesn't have ads!)
