RollingMeadows Posted July 25, 2022 #27 Share Posted July 25, 2022 This is an expense to the line I would expect to dry up in the near future. Nice while it lasted, but my expectations are changing in the current economy.
travellingnana Posted July 25, 2022 Author #28 Share Posted July 25, 2022 I’m going to second cashing out at the casino, which we didn’t do. kokopelli-az Posted July 25, 2022 #29 Share Posted July 25, 2022 (edited) We were on the Caribbean Princess in June. The military credit was not refundable. (We spent it in the casino.) Edited July 25, 2022 by kokopelli-az
D. B. Posted July 25, 2022 #30 Share Posted July 25, 2022 How do you Cash out a Military OBC in the Casino? With no experience in that area, I apologize if that's a stupid question.

Also it's not refundable - but once you've qualified, get with every cruise you book.... https://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/ Edited July 25, 2022 by Loveh2ofl reword

If you had Shareholder Benefit listed it would have the * after it.

Tom On our last cruise we went to guest services to sort out another issue and were asked if we wanted to have our Military OBC in cash (it was near the end of the cruise) it was about $130. I think this was because we live in the UK, we said yes of course!

I was beginning to think something had changed with the military OBC. Did check out our cruises through 2023 and all show as refundable (no *). The only "non" word I could see in the description was non transferable.

Moondogy Posted November 1, 2023 #41 Share Posted November 1, 2023 It may be the time in which you booked the cruise. A few months back I received an email from Princess stating that you could no longer have the SHOBC and MOBC together anymore, you would only get one or the other. There must have been a real big stink raised because they have decided to let us have both again, but changed the MOBC to nonrefundable. If you still show it as refundable I wish you the best of luck that they don't catch it or change it on you. We just booked a cruise for 2025 on 10/23/23 and it shows MOBC as nonrefundable.

Carnival advised in July that we in Australia, could no longer claim both SHOBC & MOBC, now there seems to be some confusion as to whether or not it has been reinstated that you can. Have you guys over there heard something official? regards John

kiwimum Posted November 1, 2023 #50 Share Posted November 1, 2023 You need to create an account with Stockperks and link your brokerage statement. If it works takes a few minutes to verify eligibility. Stockperks is having issues with Plaid the interface, could be due to volume.
