Princess Casino Offer dated 5/4

Got an email offer on 5/4 for free interior, $250 free play and Princess Plus.

Called earlier today and was quoted an upgrade price.  Needed to talk to hubby.  Called back and was given a price quote $400 higher and didn't include Prncess Plus.  She said it was a misprint  It was an email that could have been corrected.

My question...anyone else get this offer?  Did it include Princess Plus?

So frustrated.

I got one on 5/4 via email.    Mine includes the Princess Plus Pkg along with a free balcony room & some free play.   I actually booked 2 cruises with my offer and my booking summary shows they are included.

However, there are a lot of different offers out there and many are different based on your rate of play.

In the email from 5/4, my campaign code of RE2DM031A/Z includes Princess Plus.

Edit: Valid for three bookings, with P+, but the freeplay is only valid once.

Interesting.

I got an offer last week.

Not a comped room but an INCREDIBLE deal including P+ & $400 OBC.

Booked a week w/ DH then then next week for me solo--same price, still got the $400 OBC.

What I find odd is that we have not sailed Princess in TEN YEARS!

We did already have 12 day UK cruise booked w/ Princess this fall & I have a 4 day booked in soon after.

I got one for 7/2,inside room,7 days Caribbean, $299 with $199 each on board credit....booked it, but the $199  on my manage cruise page says it's an shore excursion credit!!!! Uggh,  was hoping to use it in the casino! Do you know if it could be used for anything else but excursions?

unfortunately, I'd call on that one.   If it doesn't say it on your summary, then they might have typed in the wrong code.

It doesn't show on my booking as that...my ta is supposed to call on that. No where did it mention excursion credit,I assumed just regular obc.

I called for the 3rd time.  Not only did this person get it right, she came in better on the price which could be from the cabin I chose. Anyway, the 2nd person I talked to needs better training.  So all good now.

Evidently if you want the phone answered sooner, call late on Friday.

We also received the same offer.  Also told that it was a mistake.  I told her to forget it and sent an email to the Casino Department.  One - they need more people to answer the phones and they need to know what is going on.  We currently have 3 cruises booked for the rest of the year - all casino offers - but receiving "error" offers is not going to cut it with me.

I called back and got a different person.  3rd call.  I ended up getting the offer with everything in the email.  I also sent an email to the casino about the lack of training.  The woman who wouldn't give me the offer said she asked her supervisor.  Either the supervisor was uninformed or the person on the phone was lying to me.  They need to get their act together.

I will probably call back before the expiration of the offer.  Problem is we have the 3 cruises already booked and not sure where to go next.  Have already done the Mexican Rivera 4 times and the California Coast twice and we only want to go out of San Pedro.

I have the same problem.....I've done the Mexican Rivera about 4000000000 times and I'm sick of it.....I don't even get off the ship anymore.   I did do the Sea of Cortez and Loreto was amazing.    That being said, how about Hawaii or Panama or even California Coastal?   We also are doing Alaska out of San Francisco and flights on Southwest are pretty cheap (free luggage) if you book them early enough.

We had such a good offer (free balcony, freeplay, free Princess +) that we decided to do a B2B Iceland/Greenland, Scottish Highlands & Wales (30 days!) - All we needed to do was cover the airfare & port fees and taxes.    That was too good of a deal to pass up because I probably couldn't afford it if I was paying full fare.

From San Pedro, the only other choices are Hawaii, Panama, Tahiti R/T, and Tahiti ending up in OZ. Did I forget one?

Or 2?😉

Did the Tahiti, did the Hawaii, wanted to do the 10 Alaska from LA, but they don't offer that anymore, so we are going out of San Francisco.  Doing Canada/New England, flying in NYC - that is the longest flight I want to do.  We don't get off the ship for the Mexico Rivera cruises either.

Love Alaska, so we may do it once a year even if it means flying to San Francisco

Interesting-- my offer didn't include Tahiti as an option that I noticed; what category was it under? I ended up booking a 20d Carib Explorer and a 20d Central/MexRiv.

My third pick was a Hawaii that one of my family hadn't been on yet, but for some reason, the Oct 4(?) on the Sapphire was showing up as unavailable according to the rep, despite it showing up as one of the ones that were valid via the link and in the fine print.

I don't get off the ship either on the Mexican Rivera, yet I cruise it 1-2 times a year (I'm from San Diego).   we are stretching our wings a bit and doing Alaska and Hawaii from SF.

That cruise is sold out. I had no idea those offers would apply to 15-30 day cruises to places like Hawaii or overseas. I have an offer but have not followed up because I, too, only want to go out of LA for now.

The offers vary, but I find the ones in Asia to be exceptionally rare; I had a few pre-COVID valid for trips out of Singapore... the current offer, assuming it's similar to mine, has a lot of up-to-20d voyages on its docket, as well as the 15/16-day Hawaiis out of SF/LA/SD... it was only the first trip on the Sapphire that, for some reason, didn't count.

I got the cruise to Hawaii booked (Nov 7th) on the Ruby, it's sailing out of SF.   There was one leaving in October I believe from San Diego.

I just booked a 16 day Iceland/Greenland and 14 Scottish Highlands/Wales as a B2B.    I'm going to take advantage of these long ones until they decide to stop offering them....then I'll be back to the Mexican Rivera 🙂

I heard that most of the Alaskas are out of WA/OR because they worked in an exception for the Jones Act in those two states, letting them skip Vancouver while it was closed, so I'd guess that the ships that would've been running LA-AK got shuffled elsewhere, while SF-AK is a 'close enough' thing for them that they didn't feel the need to bring LA's back once things reopened.

...If that run-on showed any lucidity.

Sorry to be a little off topic, but does anyone know why the LA to Alaska cruises are gone?  We also take advantage of the casino cruises, but my husband said no more Mexican Riveria!

I know there is a 10 day out of San Fran, but I haven't seen one for LA.

We just got back from a Wine Country cruise (LA to Vancouver) and next up is a VIP on the Discovery in mid August, I received an offer for a Prestige Cruise hubby wasn't too interested in the limited choices so I went ahead and booked Alaska again for 6 days after I disembark.  Ports are slightly different and this one is on the Crown.  From what I'm reading it may be a slow cruise to nowhere which is fine.

Got a great offer while on board for a free mini suite, FP, and  P+ but have to sail by Dec 3rd.  We haven't been to Mexico for a few years so I am kind of leaning in that direction but those are filling up fast.

Another suggestion is to use the Chat feature vs a possible long wait on the phone.
