Boiling Water Kettle

Anyone know if Serenade Of the Seas have boiling water kettle in the ocean view cabin?

I don’t believe any OV cabins have them in any ships.

No but you can order it a carafe of hot water fro, Room Service for no charge (most hours) A tip an nice for the delivery person

Just ask for a kettle - they should bring one.
You cannot make a proper cup of tea with the carafe of water.

We are currently on Ovation in an OVB and it had one in it when we got here.

That is fantastic news! DH and I are both big fans of herbal tea, but we don't drink it around the clock in the Caribbean. 😉 Alaska, on the other hand, is made for cozy cups of tea.  Fingers crossed that they make this permanent!

DW is a tea only drinker, has never ever made coffee. She said she doesn’t know how.  I told her it’s a secret recipe, coffee and water.

 

i am a coffee only drinker, but can also make her tea.  

 

We we both agree on the following:  Coffee and tea are ALWAYS BETTER when someone else makes it for you.  

 

So neither of us wants the kettle in the room.

We had kettle in our OVB on our last 3 sailings of Anthem.    I think they kept in cabin since the ship also does sailings out of the UK.    It was nice to have.

Our balcony cabin on Anthem out of New Jersey in December had kettles to heat water.  Our friends all had kettles in their regular balcony cabins as well.

Ahhh, Quantum class is the only class I haven’t cruised yet!

We had 4 balconies on Anthem in 2016 and none had kettles. 
My friend has cruised on Anthem several times and never had any.

If you ask your cabin steward they can most likely get one for you
