Now that’s done, here are today’s “Fun Times”…..

Next, we are going to drop off our carry-ons at our cabin. On our way we pass the Alchemy Bar…..

IMG_0775-X2.jpg

Looking down at Emeril’s Bistro……

IMG_0776-X2.jpg

We take the elevator up to Deck 11 and we find the usual sign on the big doors….

IMG_0778-X2.jpg

Platinum and Diamond members are allowed to drop off their bags in their cabin, but not to linger. Our cabin door is wide open, our sail and sign cards are not there, and it’s clear the room hasn’t even been started to be made up. Our room steward is nowhere in sight, so we leave him a note letting him know that we put our bags in the closet.

Feeling hungry, we grab an elevator and head up to Deck 16, and Shaq’s Big Chicken, which is on the port side aft. It is not busy at all.....

IMG_0782-X2.jpg

IMG_0783-X2.jpg

We get our food and sit at the Tides Bar which is on the starboard side aft. Patti had the chicken strips….

IMG_0784-X2.jpg

I had two Shaq Attacks. We both had the potato salad which we thought was really good…..

IMG_0785-X2.jpg

Here are our first drinks of the cruise…..

IMG_0786-X2.jpg

IMG_0789-X2.jpg

IMG_0787-X2.jpg

Right across the way from the Tides Bar is Swirls, perfect for dessert…..

Great review.  We are in upstate NY visiting my dad. Heading to Niagara Falls this afternoon before heading back to Florida Saturday.   It was great to see you both and we are looking forward to sailing together in January.

To tell you the truth, just about every bar on the ship seemed small for the size of the ship, but there are so many of them that it wasn't an issue. 😎

It was really good, but we'll have the best when we are in Portland, Maine on the Legend in September! 😁

That's right in my backyard, live 25 mins out. We're going on the Mardi Gras in September, though. 🙂 Thanks for the amazing blog and reviews!

Jamman, have you ever sailed from the west coast?

Yes, back in 1990, 2019, & last October. Links to the reviews of the last two are in my signature. 😎

Post Cruise  (May 10th)  -  Outlets, Hooters, & Mini Golf.

We were up at 7am to another beautiful sunny day. It’s going to be in the low 80’s later. We went to the Plaza Garden Restaurant for their buffet breakfast again today. Afterwards, Patti was going to take a tour of the property with her camera. I was going to go back to the room and work on the review. To begin, Patti catches me by our room on the third floor of Building “A”…….

This is Pool # 1 which services Buildings “A” & “B”…….

There is outdoor seating by Lite Bite……

As Patti was making her way back to our room, she took these shots of our pool from the third floor of Building “B”…..

There is a laundry room in every building…..

Around 11am, Patti heads out to the Orlando Premium Outlets. I’m staying at the hotel to continue working on pictures and have some pool time…..

JSCF6627-X2.jpg

Patti didn’t take any pictures out there, but did note that if you need a covid test…..

JSCF6628-X2.jpg

Patti got back to the hotel around 3pm, and we hung out for a couple of hours, then we decided to go to Hooters on International Drive for dinner…..
