Princess Transfers from Ship to Airport

I did a search but didn't find anything recent.

 

Can anyone please tell me the cost of the Princess transfer from the port to the Fort Lauderdale airport.  Is it worth it or would a cab be better.

 

We normally fly out of Miami so we always get the transfer.

Cab is better and faster. Princess transfer was $19.00 pp. Cab is around $20.00 per trip.

Agree, cab is faster, better and less expensive. Cost for a cab, $20/25 for two. Fares may have increased recently with the high gas prices. Cabs readily available. Travel time to airport is 15 to 20 minutes depends on traffic & traffic lights.

Plus in taking a cab you do not have to wait for the Princess bus to fill up.   And the cab will drop you off at your airline gate; whereas the buses drop you off in the bus area.

also  keep in mind the number of passengers you have  including luggage and any wheel chairs you might have , After considering everything make your  choice

We have for years used private transportation while in Fort Lauderdale.  We always have used Howard Transportation (ridehowardstransportation0099@gmail.com), he has been very reliable and reasonable.  Howard picks us up at the motel and drops of off where Princess loads the luggage.  He picks up at the port (we do an early walk-off) and he takes us straight to the airport.

Like others mentioned;  there are plenty of taxis so the wait will be minimal

There is always the bus....or walking.  LOL  😉
